Most frustrating thing? the game could be good. There is notthing revolutionary, grinding could be good, you can as free to play, after a lot of work, reach the point were you clear the basic content and even some advanced content like Hydra. The comunity is great, there are lots of content creator who also love the game (but who aslo have to rant every damn new event 'cose of Plarium's strategy). Al that said, be prepared to get frustrated a lot. When u summon, u have a mercy system that isn't merciful at all, be ready to close offer windows every time u come back on your home screen. Tons of champs are useless; you can even pull a legendary, and he can be worse than a mediocre rare champion. And don't expect to pull legendaries every 2 weeks ... I'm not F2P, i actually spent a good chunk of money in this game (not from Plarium's point of view), and still there are days when I cannot even finish my daily quest. Especially Live arena, as a new player, you can find yourself fighting vs a max account player full of mythical champs (let's not talk about myths ...). I have 10 arena tokens in a day and I can't beat 3 of them ... . At the beginning of the game, PVE tournaments may appear accessible, but after reaching level 30/40, you will see that they are nothing but a money race. Then you reach contents where you are forced to have a really large ammount of champions (like cursed city). So don't excpect to need just a pull of 20/30 champs ... good lord, no. So you gonna need a lot of good champs, a low chance to pull them from shard (sometimse there are fusion ... but you really need to work hard or spent for those too) and then you have to farm so much to build them (especially books if we talk about legendary ... and myth). The game is so time-consuming that it makes this review a quick note. Ain't no game, it's a full-time job. Plarium's main objective is to make your life so miserable at some point that you will give up or you will spend your money. There are so many things to tell, the dracogate, the fact that you can reach max relic even if you spend thousands of dollars. Two advice from my side. 1 watch videos from major content creators from raid and make your own idea (Hellhades, Ash Raid, etc.). 2. One of the content creators (Hellhades) was so frustrated with this game that he started his own game. Name is Godforge, alpha is on its way, worth a look. Looks like a similar game but probably with more love for the game itself and not for the money ....

Mercy system does not work. It's a money pit. Even if you spent money the characters you could end up with could be terrible. Love Playing. There's not enough ways to earn anything to do much

The game is garbage. Customer service sucks. You have to summon 200 times in order for the "Mercy" system to kick in to give you 1 of over 300 legendary champions that chances are you DONT want. They claim that you can "play for free" but the rewards you get are horrible AND if you want to delete your account you have to give them a laundry list of things like your username, when you started the account, the country and PROOF OF YOUR LAST 3 IN GAME PURCHASES. Please save yourselves the headache,frustrations, time and money and play something else because I promise it isn't worth it.

I would have given it no stars if I was able to, it’s literally a joke to have such a good game for people to play but have the worst service ever. I’ve literally spent $1000 or more on the game in the last six years that I’ve been playing and I have never been more disappointed about something than I am about what you receive from the game. It’s almost like the more money you spend the worst items you get on top of that the customer service is absolutely horrible. If someone continuously spends money on your app and you basically treat them like garbage it makes them not want to even interact with the game I might still play it, but I will never spend another penny on this app. You need to learn how to treat your customers better or you won’t have people spending money on the app me myself I’m done tonight was the last time I ever purchased anything off your app and I will never do it again. It’s not worth it.

To start if you don't have a fb page u will miss out on some stuff in game, dumb. I tried to use a active promo code and it didn't work. I tried to talk to support, they made me feel like I was dumb and could not read. I did not get help at all. Game is fun, but support sucks ass, and I will not make a fb account so I miss out on some kind of progress.

Apart from the fact it's bloomin' awful and only for kids with a low IQ. They never pay tokens on tapjoy..... robbed me of 39 tokens. Very boring game....avoid !

This game is awful. Greedy, and honestly, it just doesn’t make sense. You can play for 5 years, spend islands of dollars maxing out characters, to watch your team do no damage to a single charter for a hour, and even though it’s a draw, it registers as a defeat. Absolutely absurd. Makes no sense, you get no where no matter how long you play it for. And don’t even get me started on the in game purchases. Shards that cost $50, but you get a rare for the expense, every time! Spending money literally gains you no advantage. None! This game absolutely blows, for every obvious reason. Don’t waste your time, and definitely don’t waste a cent, because it’s not worth it.

I started playing this not long ago maybe, been about 1 week now, and I have spent a total of £75 on this game, I'm going to push this game to a 3 star because I enjoy it, I don't spend money on the shards as to me that's the gambling side of the game so I avoid wasting money on chance based champions, now where I am really upset is the energy system by which you cannot continue to progress in single player campaign and are forced to spend £29.99 just to get 2K energy and a few other useless stuff, if I am spending money at least give me more of what I need rather than putting in useless items into the package with one useful item I need and there shouldn't even have a price on it as I am forced to grind low level characters in order to rank them up from 2x to 5x just to rank my main character to 6x where the game actually opens up and starts being fun aparantly as thats what all 5 year Raid players all saying the same thing, I have a 1 week 100% bonus XP on top of that I also have the forge pass which grants an additional 20% XP boost, now you can imagine with 120% more XP netting me over 5Kxp per battle my low level rank 3 and 4 champions would be leveling up quicker than ever! But no this not the case this game CAPS you no matter how much money you throw at them, I have gone through almost 500 energy just to max out 3 champions at rank 3 as I need to get them up to rank 4 then rank 5, so if anyone has basic math they can see that sooner or later I am going to have to fork out another £29.99 for 2K energy otherwise I will be forced to play at 94 energy maximum daily, once your daily energy of 94 runs out I have wait till next day just to play again and progress, game is a MONEY TRAP the biggest MONEY TRAP I have ever seen, this company is 100% run by the Chinease mafia for sure no questions asked.

You have to be an addict to play a game where the process of upgrading gear could "fail" and make you lose money as a result. In my case I was on freecash and saw an offer about Raid. which they did stop tracking after the first task with a real whole dollar was involved. your support throw the ball to freecash saying the offer is from them. like freecash is an ONG that helps millionaries to get more customers for free.
All I'm going to say Is that you will never be league of legends. and you guys support scams like freecash.

This game is addictive to anybody who like gambling.... It might not be seen as gambling, but it will release the same chemicals in the brain as gambling. On top of that they skillfully force you to purchase items after you are hooked... this game should be outlawed. Raid along with their content creators will tell you that its your choice to buy, but they know what they are doing.... The mother company is a gambling machine company after all...

Played for 5 years now; everyone's complaints about the game are valid. Yes, it's a money trap, if you have no self control; millions of people play free to play, as I have, for all these years. The amount of content to work through is challenging and interesting, putting together your teams for all the different areas. Live Arena has added quite a bit for those craving more interaction with others. The amount of characters in the game, beautifully realised, is mind boggling, and growing all the time. The grind is real, but the rewards are fun. It's not for everyone, but it is for millions of us!

This is not a game! don’t call it a game! It’s a system to make money and provide some form of entertainment for people who’s got money, plenty of time and who don’t go out much basically. Hence why the graphics is so nice to attract people to try. Once you are in, it will easily drag you to the randomness and the endless grinding you will have to do.

As a real player you would need 3rd parties optimisers to build your teams properly because that system is only there to make money and does not provide much information on fights details or even what stats are required to kill a boss. Hence why there’s so many videos made by so many content creators on youtube just to help players to build their teams and win fights with bosses. Pls note those youtube videos are only there to show different alternative ways to beat bosses when you haven’t got the right champions.

You don’t play with real players in 95% of the game. The little part where it is PvP, you don’t get to choose any players but you are given a list of 10 stronger opponents to pick and fight with. This list refreshes every 15min. The system would always give you strong players to fight with in-order to make you grow. But at anytime you grow your teams, the list changes to even higher players. Theres no escape there!

In most part of the game, you need to get specific champions with the right skills to kill the end bosses. Hence to get those champions, you need to constantly find/buy and summon shards with the hope you get the right champion. Once you get the right champion its so easy to just autorun and even solo that particular boss. Theres no strategy at all, just spend and get the right champions for the 100’s different places and you win.

Everything in the system requires a lot of time, you need to complete daily and advance activities every single day to get very little rwds as well as a constant endless farming night and day, to get the right artifacts, gears, souls, glyphs, essences, all sorts of portions, etc, etc. almost all players use 3rd parties application to be able to farm automatically otherwise you will have to be constantly on ur device and farm away.

The whole platform is very random, anything you do in the game would be random chances. Hence you cannot complain if something hasn’t worked as it is a random chances in most things. You just need to get the right champion by luck of summoning, grow them and off you go to finish the boss. That’s all the satisfaction you get. Upgrading anything from champs, gear, artifacts, etc, are all random, therefore upgrading may or may not happen when you try. Most of the time it would not work first time, so you lose your resources and have to go farm and try again till you succeed the upgrade. No fun whatsoever and more frustration all around.

If you are a f2p player. It would be same as you are playing a monopoly game. If you are lucky to get the right champion for the right boss, then it’s like you got “Mayfair” and you naturally feel strong. You wouldn’t need to do much effort and can run on auto. If you aren’t lucky to get the right champion for a specific boss, it would be like you are in “Old Kent” where you would struggle forever and have to spend time playing manually. Now, there are many bosses in this system so you would need a lot of luck to get the right champs FOR EACH areas!

Theres nothing to bond players together. The in-game chats are always dead because there’s not much to share or talk about. Even Raid uses Discord for chats and discussions. You are just a farmer and just go farm day and night basically.

Finally, Joining a clan means nothing much, you don’t really share anything in the clan other than all members of the clan got to help take a portion of health from a big boss by hitting it. Once enough players have hit the boss, it doesn’t even die but you just need to achieve a amount of hits daily just to get rewarded. Theres also a Clan vs Clan every fortnight. Again you don’t choose your opponent, you will automatically be assigned a stronger Clan to go against. All clan leaders then have to push all players in the clan to farm, farm, farm and make points. The one with higher points at the end of the CvC, wins the “battle”. Happy grinding all!

This game IS A MONEY TRAP. It doesn’t care about gaming experience. They are just another trashy money hungry gaming group.
I don’t spend money. Now they want me to use gems for energy to play the normal campaigns. Was NEVER like this in the last two years I’ve played, for free. When you run out of multi battles you could still play without multi battles and NEVER IN TWO YEARS have I ever had to pay gems to get energy for the regular campaigns.what a joke.
