I applied for a job via LinkedIn under a different company's name, and got a rejection email from them, but they offered me a *paid* course instead at QCP. I did a little digging, and turns out the job listing was fake and was only there to redirect people to buy the course. Seems quite scammy to me. The email also stated that I didn't get the job because I didn't have any investment analyst work experience. I have over a year of direct work experience as an investment analyst at a tier-one hedge fund, leading me to believe they didn't even bother reading my CV before sending me the email offering me the course. If you're looking for a course don't buy it from someone tricking you into buying it by posting a fake job listing!
