The customer service experience received by the team at Q Source was phenomenal!! I placed an order for a non-stocking item that we needed pretty quickly. After I placed my order, I phoned and spoke with a very helpful gentleman who advised that I should have the item in hand within 3 business days. Two days later, I received an email from another Q Source team member who provided tracking and an ETA. I work in customer service as well, so this was quite refreshing to experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Unethical Business Practices

While I understand that this is meant for a specific series of flooring, and that colors may differ from computer to computer, you still have not addressed the root issue. The issue at hand is, Q Source is fully aware that this product does not even come close to matching the color on your website. As stated prior, your customer service agent said that many have been trying to return this product because it is not the correct color. If you would like a picture of the actual color, please feel free to email me. I will happily supply the picture so others do not have the same experience.
I purchased welding rod for our vinyl flooring from Q Source because the OEM, Tarkett, was out of stock. Q Source sells Statguard products and provided pictures of the product. However, after waiting nearly a month to receive the welding rod, I come to find out that it is not even close the color pictured on Q Sources website. I called their customer service number and spoke with gentleman. He said that they have been selling welding rod like hotcakes and that several people have called in to complain that it is not the right color. He went on to say that they have been investing more money into their Google Ads strictly for the welding rod. He said since it is a special order you cannot return it. I asked him why they have not updated the picture online if so many people are complaining. He said some people call and some people do not, and that he would have IT look into.
In my opinion, I find this to be unethical business practices and I will not purchase from Q Source ever again.

Thank you for your update. Could you please forward the images to QWeb@QSource.com? We will then send them to Statguard Flooring for their review and they will respond to your request directly.
To clarify, Q Source is not aware of any issues with these products color or otherwise.
As mentioned in our previous response, all images and product descriptions are provided by the manufacturer. Following your query, we have requested additional information on how color lots are derived and will update the description if required.
Since we began offering this product online in 2024, we have not received any complaints or requests for RMA.

The seam welding rod is designed to permanently close seams between Statguard Flooring 8400 Series Static Control Vinyl Floor Tiles when melted with a heat gun. It is intended to match the color in that series, specifically and is mentioned twice in the write up. The image provided is the same one the manufacturers use on their website. The color represented in the image may look slightly different from computer to computer depending on the hardware and viewing location and is not meant for exact color matching. If this was used with the 8400 series please supply photographs, so we may further investigate the matter with the manufacturer.
In regards to advertising, we do not advertise for specific products but solutions to specific customer problems. Our catalog is vast and we encourage our customers to call prior to purchase to ensure the product being purchased is suitable for its intended use.
