Richards's computer repair service was…
Richards's computer repair service was fast and worked when installed. Although it did not fix my RAV4's surging on acceleration, it did not induce more problems. As an electronic tech for 40 years, that is a huge plus when troubleshooting a problem. I had to resist the urge to open the box to see what was done but those pesky tamper seals :)
Over all I will use him again if the need arises. +++

I am sorry to know that you are still having problems with your vehicle.
About the surging problems, if it is coming from the transmission, since the ECM was already serviced and corrected, there is a chance that the transmission had an internal failure.
If on the other hand, the surging is coming from the engine, I would strongly suggest checking the most common issues when that happens, which are (1) the ignition coils (misfiring), and (2) the flowmeter (MAF) that needs cleaning.

Richard fixed the 2003 Rav4 when nobody else could!
Several local mechanics have checked this 2003 RAV 4 for poor shifting, misfiring and failure to start. Even the transmission shop could not find any issues. I was prepared for an expensive tranny rebuild.
Fortunately I found this website which identified the issue as a faulty ECU.
Shipped the Rav4 ECU to Richard for repair and voila! All good!
