Pyjama Drama was established in 2005 in the UK, and since then, has enjoyed international success. We teach anyone working with children aged 6months to 11 years how to use our drama and play techniques to develop life skills and meet UK curriculum objectives.
What are life skills? Problem solving, critical thinking, communication, decision-making, creative thinking, interpersonal skills, self-awareness, empathy, coping with stress, dealing with emotions.

All of our courses and training come with associated resources which mean you will be able to deliver Pyjama Drama activities to the children in your care with skill and confidence. We have trained professionals at all stages of their career – from students at the very start of their journey in education, through to teachers who have been in the industry for decades.
We know practitioners and teachers can sometimes be put off by the idea of “doing drama” because they feel self-conscious. We never make anyone do anything in our training sessions that make them feel embarrassed. Our courses and resources have been developed with the non-drama specialist in mind. We are confident that even if you are naturally reserved, or hated drama at school, you will be able to use our techniques and approaches with confidence and skill. What’s more, practitioners tell us that once they start working in this way, and see the incredible benefits to children, they don’t ever want to stop!

Established in 2005, Pyjama Drama is a drama and imaginative play programme for babies, toddlers, and children up to seven years old taught in nurseries, schools, in 'public' sessions, and at birthday parties by our incredible team of franchisees and teachers.
Since 2009, we have been supporting individuals who want to run their own children’s activity business by training them how to run a Pyjama Drama business. We have trained franchisees from all over the world, from all walks of life, and with varying formal drama and teaching experience. The skill of our franchisees is evident in the incredible reviews they regularly receive!

Lots of fun was had by all and the adults did have the songs in their heads.
Sarah is full of energy, lots of fun and gets everyone's imagination going.

Best class for early years.
This is one of the best classes I do with my granddaughter. Jane is so engaging with the children and immediately puts them at ease. The class is all about using imagination, developing skills for storytelling and being creative. I would definitely recommend giving it a go.

PYJAMADRAMA IS GREAT
Ruth presents Pajamadrama to our 3 & 4 year old children in a nursery setting. Ruth engages the children for the whole performance, remaining in character.
The children are eager to share their knowledge of the topic she presents & Ruth manages to respond to all the children.
Ruth creates a fun, humorous, imaginative environment, attracting the children to perform with her.

Engaged and energetic
My nephew loves pyjama drama sessions with Sarah. They are always so energetic, full of playful imagination and the kids are engaged and love it.

Highly recommend this for Early Years staff
I've been gradually working my way through the Pyjama Drama online training over the past few months. It has really positively impacted on my practice not just when implementing the Pyjama Drama activities but also in my day to day interactions with the children and in general 'classroom management'. You work through the course at your own pace, doing little bits at a time then implementing the activities in setting with the children then back to continue on. The children in my setting have loved all of the activities and games I have implemented so far and especially love that I as the adult am 'big and silly' during these times, everyone gets very animated. It is very accessible and straightforward; both the format and the course content. I would say this is the best online training course I've done in my 15 years working in Early Years. I would highly recommend Pyjama Drama training.

Fun interactive sessions
Our children loved the sessions with Louise. They were fun and covered many areas of the EYFS. The children told their parents all about her sessions. I recommend Pyjama Drama to other Early Years settings.

Absolutely brilliant!
Sarah has been coming into our pre-school for the last term and she has been absolutely amazing. All the children thoroughly enjoyed their pyjama drama experience. Every Monday morning the children came in excited to find out what they would be doing in their session today. Following the session every child would continue to talk about it and excitedly tell their parents all about it. Sarah is amazing at her job and brings so much fun and energy to every session. So we would just like to say a big thank you to Sarah, it has been a pleasure to have you come in every week.

Utterly wonderful
I can't even express how much my two kids have loved Pyjama Drama Sheffield
Hollie is amazing. She's given my youngest so much encouragement, so many stories, so much drama and play. To say he spent his first birthday in lockdown, he's a thriving young boy who's fairly confident. So much so because of Pyjama Drama. We've been with Hollie since lockdown when we had the pleasure of Hollie on our TV every few days.
Unfortunately now it's time for us to move on to other things. My kids have loved it. I've loved it. Thank you for everything these last 3 years 💜
