Customer support is exceptional, this is in my opinion, having used many other hosting companies before, about the best value for money, if you just want one small business website

Lost access to our emails due to whatever!! Im not tech savvy! Jamie was great and extremely patient. Helped me out where he could. Ive signed up for the year and feel confident its a good choice for our business.

We lost our facility to receive emails. I’m not tech Savvy but Jamie made it easy for me. Now we have emails restored and a value for money web hosting package.

I ordered the product on Nov. 19. It's now Dec. 24 and I still have not received it. All they say is that it's still in transit.

AMAZING hosting company
We shifted from a very large well known hosting provider as we were not happy at all with the service, the cost or the CX.
I am so glad we moved to Purely. The help/advice when we migrated has been none other than AMAZING! Moving a WP site from one host to another with the complication of Cloudflare was no issue. I asked all the questions and they responded to my P4 queries in P1 SLA time. AMAZING!
If senior executive leadership read this reviews.. you already know your people are your asset of this company. They most deservedly have earned themselves a Christmas bonus this year. No, a dominos office lunch will not suffice!
And to top it all off, they also donate some of their hosting server space to charities! #PayingItForward
Wondering whether to sign-up to purely? Don't be put off by it not being a billionaire dollar, faceless AI support fronted organisation. These guys and gals know their stuff. You can tell they care. They always leave us happy. And it feels personal.

Spam, spam, spam
I quite liked the service at first, then the deluge of spam arrived! I don't mind the occasional email - especially at first but not continuous.
Their spam has no opt out link. They'd opted me in to their newsletter - I had to opt manually out of this.
Despite this the spam keeps coming.
Their marketing emails - in breach of GDPR - do not contain any opt out links.
I've unticked everything to do with contact and marketing in their admin but still it keeps coming.
I guess most people don't mind being flooded with emails but if you are not keen on spam, this is not the company for you.
A real shame as site seemed professional and registering for a domain name was fine. I had thought about registering for more domains but the endless spam with no opt out has put me off.
Given they clearly don't take GDPR seriously it concerns me whether they will respect other areas of my privacy? Will my details be passed to other companies for marketing purposes?

Fantastic real person customer service
I must admit when I saw all the positive reviews I doubted whether it was really as good as people say but I went ahead and set up an account, got a domain name and their cheapest hosting package. Their customer service is incredible so far! I had loads of basic questions before even ordering anything which Jamie answered all very simply and clearly without trying to convince me to get a more expensive package. I then had some issues with payment which was also resolved very quickly and stress-free through the same chat. So far I'm actually shocked at having a (more than) decent customer service and all at such low cost. It's turned something I was dreading doing into something less confusing with actual support. Will recommend to anyone who will listen!

I have been with Purely for over 15 years now - including its previous branding. Their customer service, knowledge and willingness to help you achieve your aims are first class.
Setting up a website
I was setting up my second website with purley.website. Jamie from support assisted me from start to finish by: helping me access the domain; setting up and configuring the Web Pro package and WordPress application; helping with all the fine adjustments and finally publishing a website that can be easily updated. He has responded very positively with all my requests for which I am very grateful. Many thanks.
Easy Setup and Great Service
My expectations were surpassed by the service I have received from purely.website with free hosting for our church as we are a registered charity. It is several years since I last set up a website and the improvements, especially the staging website, made my task easier than ever. When I had a problem and raised a ticket Jamie was right back with a helpful reply. In short I am more delighted with the service provided by purely.website and I happy to recommend.

Everytime I need help, the Purely Domains team respond quickly and most importantly, with the information I need to solve the problem. They stay with me until the problem is resolved and don't go quiet for days in reply to each step in the troubleshooting progression. Their customer service is excellent, far better than any of the big companies I have dealt with and their prices are similar. A really good combination.
Amazing Hosting with a Heart
We started on the Basic paid plan with Purely.Website and were really impressed with the service from the beginning. After two months, we were kindly offered a free Pro Plan as a charity—and the switch was seamless! The whole process was incredibly easy, and the support from their team has been amazing. We're truly grateful for their generosity. Even their paid plans are great value, but their kindness and support go above and beyond!

Looking for a webhosting provider that does not cost the world, I came across purely.website
What sets this company apart is not only, that the offering is fix price for the duration of the business relationship (if you pay 20GBP when signing up for their Lite hosting package) you will forever pay 20GBP, even if the price for new customers should go up in the future. That is loyalty benefits done right.
Another outstanding point is the customer service. Whenever I had a problem or a question, someone was most of the times immediately available (UK business hours into the late evening) for me via chat. Everything got sorted in almost no time.
Their customer service, especially Jamie, is absolutely outstanding.
In a nutshell:

The tech support alone is worth the £££
I concur with all the other five star reviews: the support alone is worth the £££££. I am moving from my ISP's email to my own domain's address.
I read review after review, and decided Purely was the most affordable for my simple needs. Despite working in IT, and providing tech support for 40 years [on Mainframes] I knew I would need help setting up email and hosting, and it was the promise of support as well as price that swayed me. It doesn't matter how much you pay, if you cant get it working, and there is no support, and in a timely manner, you have wasted your time and money.
As expected, I did have a few setup confusions, Jamie took my support call and quickly explained what I needed to do, and I was up and running. But, one ISP was rejecting my mails, again, Jamie gave me an in-depth explanation of why, and what to do next. After providing the info he asked for, they contacted the ISP in question, the ISP fixed the issue. I dread to think how long that would have taken with "chat" or "email only" support. I am now a month in and everything is working perfectly. Recommended without hesitation.
