Surprising Service

I must admit I was a little sceptical about contacting Property Checker. How wrong was I.

My enquiry and request for assistance was through email.

I had been contacted within 24 hours. They just needed a little more information from me, which I provided.

I received a response the same day with the information I was looking for.

One thing that did surprise me, there was no charge! I was expecting a fee to be charged for locating the information I was looking for.

I would 100% recommend 👌 👍

Good customer service

Names of the documents are a bit confusing and you have no idea of verifying the doc before buying.
I bought the wrong doc but contacted customer service and they refunded me so good experience there!

Instant access to TP1 Copy filed that I needed

Needed specific TP1 deeds copy filed that I could not access online via the Land Registry but was able to do this with propertychecker for a reasonable fee. Also needed to double check that I was getting the rights documentation and the customer service was quick to get back to me with help.

Waste of Money

Paid the £3.99 to view/order a document I needed, only for the system to say that they are unable to find matching documents. Waste of money.

Useless site!

It said put your postcode in which I did and it said “thats not a valid postcode”????? Useless!!

Terrible

Terrible ! Paid to look at a document and then wouldn’t send the documents without verifying my account. They never sent an email so that I could verify and neither would the resend email work.

Hi, I just wanted to provide an update as I have looked into this further and can see that the emails we tried to sent to you have been reject by iCloud with an error that says 'message delivery failed'. I'm not sure if your mailbox is full or if there is some sort of error with your iCloud account, however we are currently unable to contact you by email.

I think this is also most likely the reason why you didn't get your documents and didn't get the email with the verification link either.

If you could send us over an alternative email address, we can send over your documents asap.

You can view your documents without being required to verify your account. They should have been sent to the email address you paid with immediately after payment. It may be worth checking your junk folder if you didn't get these.

AVOID - dodgy, no contact info

I entered my email address wrong so can't see my documents. There's no way to call this company or update my email address so I can't rectify this. There is contact information - 'send me an email' link doesn't work. AVOID

Hi, I'm really sorry that you weren't able to get in touch with us and that it's taken so long to get back to you. This is a fairly new website so I have only just claimed the Trustpilot page. For this reason, I've only just seen this review.

I think the send an email link not working might have been a bug that's now fixed as I've just checked this and it seems to be working ok on our website this morning. We also now have a chat system on our website.

You can also get in touch with us directly on info@propertychecker.co.uk if you prefer email.

Of course if you didn't receive your documents, I can issue a full refund. If you could please send an email over to us I will get this issued ASAP. I can also provide the documents free of charge if needed since it's taken so long to get a response.

checker does NOT check connectivity

This so called propert checker does NOT check if your propert is connected to any broadband service. Just misleading nonsense about availability. Do not use!!! Very very misleading

Hi, I'm really sorry that you weren't able to get in touch with us and that it's taken so long to get back to you. This is a fairly new website so I have only just claimed the Trustpilot page. For this reason, I've only just seen this review.

Unfortunately checking if your property is connected to a broadband service isn't something we offer or advertise on the website. The 'Broadband Check' we refer to refers to checking the speeds and availability for a property based on data from Ofcom. This can be useful if you are looking to move house and want to make sure you can get suitable internet speeds to meet your needs.

If a connection isn't already in place at the property, this is then usually arranged by the broadband provider.

As far as I know, I don't think there is a way to easily check if your property is connected to a broadband already. If you're still having problems and haven't been able to resolve this, please feel free to send us an email over to info@propertychecker.co.uk and I'll see if we can assist. Having said that, I appreciate there's been a long delay between writing this review and getting a response.

Apologies again for the delay and not getting back to you sooner.
