Pro Linguis - StudyLingua AG Omdömen 

I enjoyed my 17 weeks in Brighton big time. It was one of my best experiences ever. I attended the CAE course and some weeks in General English at ELC Brighton. All teachers were creative and motivated and the teaching was always a great mix between seriousness and fun. I booked the intense course (30 instead of 25 lessons a week). However, next time I'd go for the normal course because the extra lessons were always in the afternoon when the other students had time to do something else. It was also with a different teacher and other students and with only 5 lessons more you don't benefit that much or you'd be better off just going out with your friends and use the language. But it was okay because there I had the opportunity to meet more people
In terms of students there were some Swiss people but here you have to be strict with yourself and keep speaking English. If you're open-minded you'll always meet people from other countries that you can hang out with.
I was very lucky with my host family. My room could have been bigger but the good food and the bathroom, which I only had to share with my housemate, more than outweighed this. Pro Linguis were always kind, gave good advice in advance and gave a helping hand with the Covid-restrictions. Otherwise I've never had any issues and therefore no reason to contact them, which is an evidence for their good work.
My language stay was a huge success and I can't recommend it highly enough. And with Pro Linguis you're always at the safe side.

My time in Portsmouth in England was amazing. Portsmouth is a wonderful, lovely city and has everything what you need. Nice restaurants, a sea, a beach, an harbour, a lot of opportunities to go shopping, pubs and bars, a lot of landmarks and great people. And when you are interestet in history, then is it a must to go there. :-) Portsmouth is of course never boring. The school, LSI Portsmouth, was also really good. The teachers and the other staff was really kind, friendly, always helpful and you can count on them. No matter what kind of problem you have, they will help you. The class, the CAE exam preperation course, was really good and helpful. I could defenitely achieve my language goal.
And now to my hostfamily: Omg they were brilliant! I love them so much, we had a great time. I spent a lot of time with my hostfamily, they always had a nice chat with me, helped me with my homework, we always had a laugh together and they showed me as well things in Portsmouth. My hostmum cooked really good, the food was delicious. And I did not just stay in their house, i was like a familymember. From the first moment, i came in their house, i felt at home, because of the warmth and the atmosphere in this lovely house. Thank you so much to my hostfamiliy, i couldn't imagine a better hostfamily, they become a second family for me. They were always there for me and helped me a lot. They made my stay so wonderful!
To stay 3 months in Portsmouth was the best decision I could make and I would definitely recommend it to you. I could learn so much, not only about the language english, but also about the english culture, other cultures from people around the world and about life skills in general. I think this trip gave me mature, in every way.
Thank you Pro Linguis for everything. I was really satisfied with your organisation and as well with your questions, when I was already in England, if I'm fine and everything. In addition to this did you inform me imediately after some changes about rules to fly back to switzerland. I felt always supportet by you and could count on you. Thank you so much!

Ich würde wieder einen 3-wöchigen Intensivkurs bei der Sprachschule Alpadia in Montreux buchen, um das Französisch aufzufrischen. Denn ich bin total happy mit meiner Entscheidung, weil ich auch dank der tollen Gastfamilie sehr profitieren konnte. Danke Larissa (Team Zürich) für deine top Beratung!

I had a great time in England (Portsmouth)! I met many lovely people, had a lot of fun, learned a lot about different cultures (not only England but also about the culture from the other students) and I was able to do very special thing (such as visiting other cities with friends or going to a festival (Victorious festival)). At the school where I've staied (LSI) I've learned a lot and in the end I was well prepared for my CAE exam (which I passed :) ). In addition to this the school and my host family always looked that I am fine and tried their best to give advices and help in case of a problem or a question. All in all it was a great life experience and there is no doubt that I would do it again! (by the way Portsmouth is really beautiful with the stone beach and the lovely restaurants and there is a lot you can do so you will never get bored ;) ).

It was really great. The family was amazing, very kind and had a lot of experience which made things easier. The City had a lot to offer, and each day I had something new to see or experience. The one negative was the school. Although the teachers were very kind people, not all of them were good at teaching. Sometimes we would just play games for a full afternoon instead of actually learning something. Also in the beginning things like the heating were turned off so it got really cold in the rooms. Even though we complained about it, the school only turned it on after 2 weeks. But all in all it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Ich hatte in den 12 Wochen im Tessin eine wunderbare und unvergessliche Zeit. Das Erlernen der italienischen Sprache hatte mir sehr viel Freude bereitet. In der Schule hatte ich tolle neue Bekanntschaften gewonnen (Mitschüler und Mitschülerinnen, sowie Lehrer und Lehrerinnen, die Personen vom Sekretariat und natürlich auch die Direktorin). Es war einfach sehr toll in der Schule ILI in Lugano. Ich hatte immer tollen Unterricht in der Schule und auch die Aktivitäten in der Schule wurden so gut es Corona zuliess gestaltet. Merci vielmals!!!!! Auch bei Pro Linguis möchte ich mich nochmals herzlich bedanken für die tolle Beratung und Vermittlung. Ich wurde immer sehr kompetent und freundlich begleitet. Auf jeden Fall kann ich Pro Linguis und die Schule in Lugano (ILI) bestens weiterempfehlen.

Zwei Wochen italienisch Kurs in Lugano
Die Kursanmeldung über pro Linguis Zürich war unkompliziert. Eine sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiterin im Kundendienst. Obwohl nur ein Kurzaufenthalt in Lugano, hat sich die Mitarbeiterin nach einer Woche nach meinem Befinden erkundet.
Der Schule selbst hat mir gut gefallen. Ein sehr nettes Team, mit guten schulischen Kompetenzen.
Mein nächster Sprachaufenthalt wird auf jeden Fall wieder mit Pro Linguis sein.

This was the first language trip for my daughter in a campus for kids. We are very satisfied with Pro Linguis who were very reactive to answer our questions in a short time. Thank you very much! For my daughter it was a great experience and she is looking forward to make a new language trip next summer. With Pro Linguis of course!

Meine Erfahrung in St.Julian

Die Reise nach Malta war sehr schön. Die Schule hat mich gut Empfangen und die Hilfe war immer da.
Ausserdem den Ort von der Schule war sehr Zentral und die Verantwortlichen von der Schule waren sehr nett. Die Aktivitäten waren sehr abwechslungsreich und konnte viel lerne. Ich konnte natürlich auch die neue leute mit der schöne Kultur von Malta kennenlernen.

I would like to thank the whole team of ProLinguis (in Zurich) for all their efforts that they had made when searching a suitable host family for me in Provence / Côte d'Azur !

Our exchange had always been very personal and kind on the one hand but on the other also highly professional including very quick answers on my emails and phone calls as well as significant and remarkable flexibility when it came to personal wishes and in particular, changes at short notice from my side that I would never perceive as evident at all.

Last but not least, I had always had the impression that they took me serious and noticeably represented my interests towards their foreign partners, having thus done excellently their very difficult job of balancing the partially conflicting interests of their client, their partner organisation and of course of ProLinguis itself.

To conclude, I would and will highly recommend ProLinguis to anyone, am going to contact ProLinguis again for a potential language stay in the future and in any case, am enormously grateful for having been able to get to know and work with the aforementioned team of ProLinguis :))

Alles sehr gut und professionell abgewickelt. Das Beste was aus der Corona Zeit herauszuholen war. Schule hat sich grosse Mühe gemacht Alltagsthemen zu bearbeiten. Die Unterstützung von Seiten Vermittler waren sehr gut und hilfreich. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Hat alles bestens geklappt. Wurde alles für mich wunderbar organisiert.

Pro Linguis Zürich würde ich jedem weiterempfehlen! Ich wurde super beraten und sie waren super flexibel mit der momentanen Situation.
Wegen Covid musste ich meine Pläne ein paar Mal ändern, wobei mich Pro Linguis super unterstützt hat und dann auch 2 Wochen vor Abreise ein Aufenthalt in einem anderen Land / andere Schule und Sprache / neue Gastfamilie ermöglicht hat. Auch während meinem Aufenthalt haben sie sich nach mir erkundigt und mir geholfen.
Mega freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute Planung und Organisation und sehr gut funktionierende Kommunikation!

Ich habe kurzfristig einen 6-wöchigen On-line Englischkurs durch Pro Linguis im Kanada gebucht. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt: Nach einer Woche der Anmeldung konnte ich schon anfangen; die Einstufung habe gepasst; der Unterrichten war gut, sogar habe ich einen Super-Lehrer kennen gelernt. Gerne wieder!

Ich empfehle Pro Linguis definitiv weiter! Rebecca, welche mich beriet und betreute, erzählte viel über ihre eigenen Reisen nach Australien. Dementsprechend waren ihre Erzählungen sehr authentisch und ansteckend. Ebenso war sie sehr gut informiert, und konnte mir bei jeder Frage weiterhelfen. Ich fühlte mich bei Pro Linguis super aufgehoben und wünsche jedem/jeder eine solche Unterstützung bei der Organisation und Durchführung eines unvergesslichen Jahres.
