Recently purchased a second hand…
Recently purchased a second hand Patriots 2200 watt solar generator and 2, 100 Watt panels that were used one-time. 5 things that bother me:
1. How loud the charging of the solar generator from a wall socket is. I'm 25' away now and it sounds like it's right next to me.
2. The amount of radio interference is high enough to block most of my radio stations, even from from 10 feet away. So don't put it near you either.
3. The standard solar panel connection type is MC4 across 95% of solar companies. Why does 4Patriots uses Anderson type connectors which are NOT compatible?
4. How heavy the solar generator is, it has to be a good 57 pounds.
5. The flimsy Go-generator cart barely makes it around, need at least 3 bungie cords to keep it in place.
6. I popped in here with a 6th edit... When using the generator at night to power devices about every 15 minutes the Loud fan runs for about 1 minute, did I say LOUD? Need to keep away in a distance with a long extension cord...
