Great service thanks, but...only worn this for the second time today and the shoulder padding has hole's on both shoulders. Very disappointed.

Hi Janet, The kevlar usually lasts a couple weeks before tears, it may be something has caught it. The main thing is that even after the top tears, the pad remains in place and the skin is never exposed, the shape of the pad and kevlar allows the pad to be retained. The tears are inevitable with all materials but we have found that one the top wears through, the garments are usable for months on end as long as the pad is retained by the material surrounding. Of course a standard t-shirt exposes the skin straight away and unusable straight away. We are actually doubling the kevlar and switching to a new method of stitching from knitted to woven to see if we can extend them even further. Thank you for your feedback, stay safe.
Ripped already
Great hoodie i thought at first nice and warm, shoulder idea great,.......

Hi Matthew, As you have noted the quality of the hoodie is much higher than standard PPE. You have also stated ripped after 1 month when standard hoodies can rip within 1 day and within a week at best. We do advise on our site that even when tears start to appear in the kevlar, the pad remains in place and you can continue to use it for months whilst the pad is retained due to the shape of the design retaining the pad. If you wouldn't mind reflecting this in your review please as a 1 star is not true to the the quality - it does last much longer than standard hoodies, adds comfort, protects the skin and we are here for the health of scaffolders. We are also trialling a new type of kevlar to last even longer. We are sure as Scaffolders to Scaffolders you can agree these have lasted much longer than standards tops and you should be able to still use it with the pad retained and no skin exposed. Thank you

I've only had the hoodie for about 2 weeks and the shoulder pad has ripped already,but as I've not had it long, it's probably unfair to give it a negative revy

Hi Aidan, As you are aware T-shirts rip within a day Scaffolding and are rendered unwearable afterwards. The Pro Armour tops keep the pads in place after tears happen which allows the user to still operate for as long as the pad remains in place. If you are still able to use the garment as we have described, you should be able to use the product for at least 3-4 months as we have described and we have a team of 50 Scaffolders able to do this tested through trials.
We would ask if this is the case, would you kindly re-visit your rating as the garments do provide longer lasting ability and can continue to be used when wearing due to the shape of the pad remaining in place.
We are continuing trials with other materials but ultimately the pad does not diminish and continues protection whilst held in place .

Well packaged product but very poorly…
Well packaged product but very poorly made, worn for 3 weeks (15 working days) and the shoulder patch has worn through and padding falling out, to top it off the hoodie bobbles terrible after a 30c wash and 800 spin and line dried.
It’s a great idea chaps but poor manufacturing let you down.

Hi Craig, we have trialled the product over 2 years and any fabric wears due to the role but when it does wear we have found the pad to remain in place due to the shape of the fabric allowing it to still be worn throughout. We also have not come across this washing issue as we have had them lab tested upto 25 washes too. We appreciate your feedback and if you able to provide more detail please do

This brand of workwear is excellent. Durable and long lasting. The padding on the shoulder really makes life easy when carrying materials on site. Would absolutely recommend.

Pro Armour workwear is a cut above the rest. The garments are built using quality materials that not only feel robust but also stand the test of time. We’ve found their safety clothing line to be extremely durable, even in demanding conditions, and performs effectively after every use. Professional Company with Outstanding Products
Fantastic company to do business with. Ordered shirts for all of the lads in the yard and the clue is in the name 'pro'. Professional from start to finish, from placing the order, to delivery updates through to aftercare. Lads have become much more effective on site with less strain and stress on the shoulders - well worth the investment.
