BUYERS BEWARE!!

So I ordered a total of 4 custom vinyl records through this site in a short 2 month period and 2 out of the 4 had something wrong with them. If your dropping $100 on each vinyl record, then they shouldn't be having any flaws. If you are looking to trust a company to make you your perfect personalized vinyl record, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I've ordered both the normal black vinyl and colored vinyl, and I'll summarize the flaws I've found in them.
First, The ONE positive thing is: when it comes to the jackets for the records. They are decent enough. Not the sturdiest material, but pretty okay. The site tells you if your uploaded pictures to be used for the jacket and record stickers are too low of resolution, so you're less likely to have the picture being too blurry.

However, when it comes to the quality of the vinyl and the audio, it's not good. The first bad record is a standard black vinyl. I had two problems with it. One was that one of the tracks on the B side was much too loud. I balanced all the music myself and uploaded to the site to be used. For some reason, out of the dozens of tracks across all four vinyl, this one single track was distorted and was much too loud, completely different than the file that I uploaded. And the second problem was that they used locking grooves on this vinyl, despite all the other 3 I ordered having normal spiral grooves in the center. I don't mind locking grooves at all, I don't know why they randomly, inconsistently make the vinyl records physically a different format from one another? Especially if they're in the same order. Also, the lead-in grooves on the outer edge of the vinyl were very thin and far from the edge, when I first played the vinyl, the needle missed the grooves and slid like crazy into the first track, skipping over the first 20 seconds or so.

The second vinyl with problems was a colored vinyl. This vinyl is much different than other colored vinyl I own. The best way I can describe it is that it looks like the vinyl was colored and sealed inside of a thin clear plastic casing and the grooves for the music was made on top of that clear material. The result: It sounds bad. That subtle, lofi gritty sound that vinyl is known to have is turned up to a 10 and is almost matching the volume of the music itself. And no where on their site does it mention that the colored vinyl uses a different material. I spoke with someone from the company about it and she confirmed that yes, the colored vinyl are made from a different material and it does effect the quality of the sound. Let me mention that you pay extra for a colored vinyl. So I paid extra for a weird plastic-looking colored vinyl that has poor, poor sound quality.

And to make it all worse, with all that said, I voiced these problems to the company. I sent videos showing off how bad the sound quality was. I asked if they I could exchange or get a refund for them because obviously they are defective. But no. Short answer they said no, despite the obvious flaws. Again, it's $100 per vinyl and one costing extra because it was colored. And if you look under their "180-day return policy" or "60-day refund policy", they literally say they don't accept returns or give refunds to orders that are customized items. THAT'S LITERALLY ALL THEY DO. So if they mess up the quality of your vinyl, you're out of luck and out of $100. I don't like how they're work is very inconsistent and seemingly having a 50-50 chance of being flawed.

I ordered a custom vinyl record on February 1st and paid nearly $300 CAD, expecting a quality product based on your website claims and timelines.
While my order did fall within your stated processing window, the product I received on February 27th was unacceptable. Despite professional-looking packaging, the record itself arrived with visible scratches, fingerprints, and residue on it. The center label stickers on the record were also full of bubbles that I had to press down myself. This is not what I would expect from a new, custom-made item at this price point.
The record was also severely defective in performance — it was extremely wobbly, the sound quality was very poor, and the volume was so low it had to be turned to maximum just to hear it. I tested multiple other records on the same player with no issues, confirming the problem was with your product.
After submitting videos through your form, a remake was approved. While I appreciate that step, the process took nearly another month, with the replacement not arriving until March 31st.
The second record was an improvement functionally, however it introduced new issues. The sleeve arrived damaged with a tear on the back, and when comparing it to the original, it was clearly of higher quality — highlighting that the first sleeve sent was substandard.
Your team refused to replace the damaged sleeve, stating the issue was “minimal” and referencing that I had not complained about the original sleeve — despite the fact that I had nothing to compare it to at the time. No compensation or resolution was offered.
Between the time spent designing, troubleshooting, waiting for two shipments, and dealing with defects, this process stretched from mid-January to the end of March. For nearly $300 CAD, this does not reflect “100% satisfaction guaranteed.”
Given the condition of the original product, the extended timeline, and the unresolved damage to the replacement, I believe a partial refund is warranted. I would appreciate this being reviewed and addressed appropriately.
Overall, this experience shows inconsistent product quality and a lack of accountability when issues arise. I would not order again.

The team was responsive, thorough, and worked closely with me to achieve the desired outcome. When I tried out the record on my player, it would stick about ten seconds before the end on either side. When the person I gifted it to tried it on his player, however, it played smoothly and sounded great. I guess the drive of your player can be something to consider when ordering. Overall I'm super happy with how it turned out! Thank you!

I purchased a custom vinyl for a retiring colleague being recognized at a gala. We wrote a song and created album art, and seeing it all come together with the vinyl and cover was beyond my expectations. I accidentally ordered the smaller vinyl and needed the bigger size to present in front of a room of 150+ people. Just 7 biz days prior to the event, I worked with Rapunzel to expedite a larger version. She was so kind, responsive, and even followed up as the image I sent her was blurry. She made sure it was perfect and it arrived with 2 days to spare. The gift was a HUGE hit, looked so cool, and customer service went above and beyond. I will definitely be purchasing again!

Loved it from the start of the process to playing the record at home

The pricing was great for the sound quality I received. It was also extremely easy to upload the PNG and the added perk of being able to search songs is why I chose them! They made sure my order was perfect and even gave me the opportunity to fix a typo I made. I was updated every part of the process and it came 2 days early!

This is a real company who have provided me with records I've downloaded on a playlist and recorded it onto mp3 file. It was no problem for this company to create the vinyls. Really impressed, thanks.

Their customer service is beyond excellent (they emailed me to make sure the photos we sent in were ok since my kids took slightly blurry photos). Their dedication to making sure your vinyl is sent out in a timely matter was also not lost on us. All in all, this is a wonderful small business that deserves our support and we will continue to do exactly that!

I ordered vinyl records from PrintYourVinyl.com and the initial batch arrived with serious printing defects and very poor quality. I contacted customer service and provided photos documenting the issues. To their credit, they initially acknowledged the problems and agreed that the quality was unacceptable, offering to reprint the records.

However, when the replacement batch arrived, the vinyl sleeves had the exact same printing defects as the original order. It was clear that no meaningful quality control had been done before shipping the replacements. The issues that they had already admitted were mistakes were simply reproduced and sent again.

What was most surprising was that after acknowledging the original problems and agreeing to reprint, they then refused to correct the issue a second time—even though the replacement order had the same defects they had already admitted were unacceptable.

The end result is that I paid for vinyl records with extremely poor print quality and was left with no resolution. While the customer service initially appeared responsive, the lack of quality control and the refusal to properly fix the issue made the overall experience very disappointing. I would not recommend PrintYourVinyl.com based on this experience.

I ordered this custom vinyl for my husband to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. The customer service team was quick and responsive. The vinyl looks amazing! We can’t wait to listen to it together as we celebrate! Thank you Mark and team!
