Writing while raising teenagers and caring for aging parents simultaneously is its own particular kind of impossible. The flexibility in deadlines and the complete absence of judgment about my availability made the difference between a finished book and an abandoned one. The book is about exactly that kind of invisible labor and it found the readers carrying the same weight. They recognized themselves immediately.

Three books into an educational series for early readers and the consistency across the series has been perfect. Same illustrator, same formatting team, cohesive branding across all three covers. Teachers and librarians have commented on how professional the series looks. That credibility opens doors.

Literary fiction doesn't always get treated like a priority at publishing houses chasing commercial hits. This team seemed to genuinely love books for their own sake. Conversations with my editor felt like talking to a reader not a project manager. That energy carried through to the final product.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS FROM INDIA WHO USE THE NAME "PRIME PUBLISHING LABS OR PRIME PUBLISHING" DOING BUSINESS OUT OF NEW YORK. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY OFFICE IN NEW YORK AND THEY ARE ONLINE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS MIMICKING "AMAZON PRIME" PUBLISHING TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE A LEGIT COMPANY. I HATE MYSELF FOR LETTING PEOPLE LIKE THIS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME AND I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. THE ONE GUY I WAS WORKING WITH BY A PHONNY NAME "GEORGE CARTER" WHO HAS AN INDIAN ACCENT CONVINCED ME TO INVEST $5000 OF MY MONEY FOR MY BOOK PRINTING FOR A RETURN OF $10000 WITH PROMISES TO SELL MY BOOKS ON MY BEHALF....IT WAS ALL A SCAM AND I FELL FOR IT. AS SOON AS I WIRED MY MONEY THIS GUY (GEORGE) WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME FOR DAYS AND THEN CAME UP WITH NEW YORK TAXES AS PART OF ANOTHER SCAM PLOT TO GET MORE MONEY FROM ME. WE GOT TO SHUT THEM DOWN SO THEY DON'T CONTINUE TO REAP PEOPLE OFF OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY. RUN AWAY IF YOU SEE ANY COMPANY BY THE NAME "PRIME PUBLISHING LABS" OR SIMILAR NAMES....THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL ONLINE SCAMMERS. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY...THEY ARE SCAMMERS FROM INDIA OR IT'S ENVIRON. THEY DON'T DESERVE A '1' STAR RATING RATHER '0' STAR IF GIVEN THAT OPTION.

After the Company promised income of $20,000.00 from one of my books for a $22,500.00 investment they never paid and they never produced the two audio books I paid $6,000.00 in advance for.
I am 85 and have limited finances. The took all my savings.
I was trusting and taken advantage of.

Looking back, the service was useful but not transformative. It helped me get the book published and avoid mistakes, but it didn’t remove the need for involvement or decision-making. Marketing assistance was limited and didn’t lead to noticeable exposure. It’s a practical option if you want support, not a shortcut.

I published by book with them in January of 2025. My issues started even before publishing. They sent me the manuscript to approve, and I told them the picture on the back cover of my family was blurry (I provided them with a professionally taken photograph of high quality). They confirmed it blurry was on their end and then did NOTHING to fix it. They published my book with the blurry picture of my family on the back cover! It is very embarrassing that my family and friends bought my book and it is soo blurry you can't even make out who the family is. I contacted them right away to correct it and they said the picture quality wasn't good. It is a professionally taken photo! I emailed them two more times following up, and they never responded to me at all. Then when they did answer ONE YEAR LATER, they blamed it on an Amazon "printing quality issue" and refused to help make it right. I spoke to Amazon and they said the picture is blurry and is therefore not a printing quality issue. So now I paid to have a blurry book. I am soo disappointed. I will NEVER use this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone!
