Come on Royal Mail - sort yourselves out!!

Ordered one of the Hampers 11 days ago and is still showing on Royal Mail website as "The item is on its way to Royal Mail - 25th November 2022. The Sender has advised us they're preparing your item." This must be as frustrating for Prestat as it is for me. Kindly offered a replacement courier service, but I don't wish to pay for delivery. I wonder what would have been inside the Hamper?? Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry to hear your hamper is taking longer than expected to get to you.

I can see our team packed and dispatched your hamper the same day you placed your order - however I'm afraid to confirm that the information we have given you by email is correct to the best of our knowledge.
With the strike action, collections are being cancelled or delayed due to our local depot being unable to go through the backlog of order there and with local businesses.
Our own driver went to drop off Black Friday orders to speed up the process, and we have seen that there are delays in scanning parcels and updating tracking numbers across the board, which is resulting in parcels being marked as "being on their way to Royal Mail".
The strikes, and the consequences of them, have been widely reported on, and we do offer an alternative carrier option at checkout.
In this specific case, we would be happy to re-send your parcel with DPD or DHL, please feel free to respond to our last email to you to discuss whether this would be of interest to you.

These chocolates are delicious

These chocolates are delicious. Always a fan of rose and violet creams, since my days when I was one of the employees at south molten street store in 1970’s. My order of yummy chocolates arrived safely and earlier than than expected, savouring every one I eat. A comment to work on the gift box is lovely, but certainly too much packaging for the environment, please consider how that can be dealt with in future. The bergamot and earl grey chocolate bar is superb, still wanting more. The flavours are wonderful. I will buy some more when I am able. Thank you.

Amazing gift for a loved one.

The chocolates are absolutely amazing and the presentation of the boxes are pretty special too. They make a perfect gift for anyone only wish there were more chocolates to enjoy!!!

Ordered two boxes of chocolates on…

Ordered two boxes of chocolates on Black Friday using a discount code which made the price reasonable. The delivery was quick and packaging was great. Always loved Prestat and was looking for a special treat for Christmas so really pleased with the whole process of ordering via the website and the fast efficient delivery. Well done

No Easter egg for us

I ordered an Easter egg on 1 April 2020 for delivery for Easter (11 April at the latest). Sadly Prestat used Royal Mail and I did not receive the egg in time. So disappointing. Addionally the card was written in upside down - a total lack of care. And Prestat's response - "they are not responsible for Royal Mail not delivering in time"...... thanks (not) Amanda. No apology or acknowledgement that it would be disappointing to buy (an expensive) Easter egg that does not turn up in time. Prestat chooses to use Royal Mail ......I won't shop again with Prestat. Arrogant and uncaring.

Overcharged and Rude

I recently bought 5 boxes of chocolates from Prestat. The cashier over charged me and I noticed when I got home.

To be fair when I called she said that she would refund.

I returned and was met by a very rude woman who it seems that it was a big inconvenience to her to refund me the money.

I like their chocolate but the compounded experience - overcharged + rude - has left me with a bitter experience.
