Overall, this was a great course with fantastic instructors!

I especially appreciated how enthusiastic and helpful the instructors were, namely Mike, Torah, and Katrina. These individuals provided essential tips that I used on test day to succeed.

However, I feel the CARS section of this course could be improved.

The MedReels offered by this program were extremely helpful as they had experts break down each problem from the official AAMC practice problems in an easily digestible manner.

I would strongly recommend this course to anyone who would like guidance on their path to success.

MCAT prep course provided a complete and comprehensive review for material on MCAT. The Prep101 instructors were all very good and the course was very organized. Included a wide range of helpful materials such as practice exams, past video recordings and much more.

Prep101 does a decent job teaching the subjects for the MCAT. However, I would recommend using them only as a supplementary source of material, not a primary source. MedReels are good and instructors are good, they just don't cover the material in depth enough to do well if you don't have the prerequisites (in my opinion). I scored a 516 (130/130/128/128) going into my third year of EE.

Hi, I would say they offer a comprehensive set of resources but their CARS strategy seems to be really difficult to pull off and reflected negatively on my testing experience. Might be just me but I scored higher on my prior attempt self-studying CARS.

I recently had the privilege of enrolling in Prep-101's exam and midterm prep sessions for CHEM 110, BIO 110, PHYS 110, CHEM 120, BIOL 112, and PHYS 120 during my first year of college, and I can confidently say that it was a transformative experience that significantly contributed to my academic success. As a result of their excellent professors and comprehensive preparation, I achieved a remarkable 3.9 GPA in my first year.

Prep101 is entirely as advertised. The books to read and classroom companions (that you take notes in) came prior to the course beginning. Having online classes to attend helped in getting through all the material at a fast but comfortable pace. One of the instructors, Mike, really simplified chemistry concepts that I recall struggling with 6-8 years ago when I took chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. Knowing that I wanted to get the most out of the classes encouraged me to read the chapter(s) ahead of time however, I really appreciated that the classes, as well as previously recorded classes, are posted so that I could refer back to something if I did not understand it. For instance, I watched a couple of the chemistry lectures prior to attending the live/online chemistry class. This way I could solidify in class the concepts that I was struggling with. Once the classes were complete, I focused mainly on the practice exams and questions that are included in the course fee. The Altius exams have videos to walk you through how to attempt questions and Prep101 has videos explaining AAMC practice questions. Both of these resources were exactly what I required to see where I went wrong or how to tackle a passage that I wasn't understanding. Prep101 also provides you with a
"coach" that aids you in creating a study schedule and can help answer questions you may have about the exam or process. The coach I was paired up with, Mikko, was very easy to talk to and made setting up Google meets quick and easy. It helped hearing from someone who had taken the exam and gone through the same process that I was (and still am) currently going through.

This course helped give structure to my studying. The material was clearly laid out and felt manageable, and the instructors were enthusiastic and accessible.

I liked that all of the classes were recorded and that they answered as many questions as possible during classes. I found all the material that came with the course was helpful and helped me succeed. I do wish the classes has been more evenly spread out for content because towards the end it was mainly psych which meant i didn't have as much practice with those things as the other content.

Concise and good summary of content to review for MCAT!

I had a great experience with Prep101 MCAT course! The personalized study plan and access to so many resources made my MCAT prep experience very useful and smooth. I do think the specialized classroom companions were more useful and easy to follow compared to the exam krackers set and an option to not pay for the exam krackers would be useful!

Prep101 was an instrumental part of my success on the MCAT. I looked into many different prep courses prior to trying them out, but am glad I made the right choice in the end. What really helped me achieve a good score was three main factors. The first factor was the notebooks that they provided for each topic (bio, chem, physics, etc.). These notebooks summarized all of the high yield topics for each section of the MCAT and made life easier. The second key aspect was the MCAT mentors. Each student is paired with a mentor/coach that will follow their progress along the course. My coach in particular was especially helpful because she assisted me in making a structured study schedule that helped keep me focused. The last factor that helped me succeed was the instructors themselves. All of the instructors I met had extensive knowledge of the MCAT and made it clear they knew what they were talking about. A lot of the instructors were as experienced as my actual university profs, which made me surprised. Overall, I can strongly recommend Prep101 to anyone who is currently looking to prepare for the MCAT. The only negative I can really think of would be the price. It is quite pricey, but for the help I received, I think it's fair if you're someone like me who struggles with self-studying large amounts of new content.
