Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.
I ordered a “solid core oak flush veneer fire door” for around £300 , waited almost three weeks for delivery, and when it finally arrived it turned out to be a standard Deanta door that appears to retail for around £120 elsewhere.
The price markup compared to buying the same door directly from Deanta suppliers is extremely high. On top of that, delivery charges were excessive and customer service has been very poor throughout the process.
To make things worse, I still haven’t received a proper VAT invoice.
Based on my experience, this company feels more like an expensive middleman reselling standard doors rather than a specialist supplier. If you are looking for Deanta products, I would strongly recommend going directly to Deanta stockists instead — you can likely save a significant amount of money.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.

To clarify, while the door supplied may be manufactured by Deanta, they do not sell products directly to consumers who wish to purchase doors themselves. Their products are distributed through approved distributors, merchants, and trade suppliers, which is standard practice within the industry.

As a compliance-focused fire door supplier, our role goes beyond simply retailing doors. The doors we supply are sourced through authorised channels and provided with consideration for fire door compliance, certification requirements, and suitability for use within fire door assemblies. Our pricing reflects the specialist supply, compliance oversight, and support involved in supplying products for regulated environments rather than standard retail purchases.

Avoid - website pricing errors mean they dont honour sales contracts

Seduced by the apparently low prices I purchased and paid for a door and received notification that we had a contract. Premier's email the next week, instead of containing an anticipated delivery date, said the website price was wrong and I needed to pay extra. They have dishonoured my contract, failing to offer me anything similar and wasted almost two weeks of my time. They make a LOT of website pricing errors and think its OK just to say sorry and refund.

PS their reply below said they acted swiftly - they didnt. My first emails and phone calls went into the ether with no response as promised. Their only concession was, after many excuses, further mistakes and apologies, a 5% discount on an alternative
