I rarely leave reviews, but this experience with Potico.ph was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
First, my order was not processed within the stated 2–10 days. I only found out it wasn’t processed because I followed up. The reason given to me was that they were “busy.” If you’re too busy to fulfill orders, then you really shouldn’t accept new ones. What’s worse is that no one proactively informed me that the order wasn’t moving. If I didn’t follow up, I honestly wonder if anyone would’ve told me at all.
Second, a couple of items in the original gift basket were out of stock and replaced. To be fair, they did confirm the substitutions with me and I told them to proceed since I had already waited long enough. At that point, I just wanted the order delivered.
Unfortunately, the delivery itself was the final nail in the coffin. The gift basket arrived stuffed in a box, not properly presented like the product photo. Some items were crumpled, and the canned goods were dented. This was meant to be a gift, and it looked like it was packaged carelessly. I felt genuinely embarrassed for the recipient to receive something that looked like it had been thrown together at the last minute.
Overall: delayed, poorly communicated, and badly presented. How do you expect repeat customers if the service is this terrible? I definitely won’t be ordering again unless major improvements are made.
