Arrived seen as soon as I got to the counter. The gentleman who sorted out the batteries I needed. Fitted them to the mobility scooter houseing. Was do helpful explained what he was doing

Tried to order a small UPS battery online and they wanted to charge me £35 just for standard delivery. Went elsewhere and paid £6.99. BBL then emailed me and said if I phoned them they could make the delivery charge "more reasonable". Seriously?

Excellent service, my original motorbike battery was useless, so I ordered a replacement from BBL batteries (Bristol) in the afternoon (the only companythat stocked my battery in the UK), and it came the next day!! put the replacement on my bike and not had an issue since. The gentleman I ordered it from was very professional and had excellent customer service.

Returned a faulty battery, still under warranty. Load of hassle trying to change it. Eventually agreed to exchange the battery, if I removed it from my vans engine bay and put it on the shop counter. So they sell faulty batteries, then expect you to fit them. Absolutely no help. Go to Halfords.

I ordered Avon Batt Boost battery and it arrived the next day. I decided to try it and all I could get from this additional battery on my wheelchair was 0.8 miles. Luckily I do have a controler on my wheelchair that is connected with my wheelchair batteries through an app so I can easily track if and how much the Avon Batt Boost battery gives me power. Spoke to the company and they asked me to try it again. In the second trial it was the same experiece. This battery is meant to give power for approximately 10 miles. I wont expect that much but at least something closer to 10 miles when is completely new.
When requested a refund I was told that I am the only one that had this bad experience and that I have been unlucky. The thing is that apart form myself I have another friend that bought this Avon Batt Boost battery and he tried his battery. He could get about 3-4 miles from the Avon Batt Boost battery. He decided not to return it because he did not wanted the hassle and also as he said 3-4 miles might be better than nothing.
The return and refund process was very smooth with the company.
Regarding the product I would advise that each person should try how it works for them, but my experience was not good with this product.

I needed to replace the main battery on my Volvo V90 Cross Country Ocean Race and spoke to an extremely helpful gentleman at BBL Batteries called Chris.
He looked up the correct speced replacement battery for my car, patiently answered all my questions and also explained a wealth of useful information to me that the main Volvo dealership failed to do. After doing some research I found BBL Batteries are very competitively priced and will most definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

Thank you BBL Swindon. I called on a Saturday morning to ask if they had stock for 2 batteries for my motorhome which I urgently needed. They confirmed they had them in stock and when I asked what time they closed the gentleman said in ten minutes. He stayed open an extra 45minutes on a Saturday afternoon and waited for me to come in and collect them. I was extremely grateful and ever thankful that I was able to get to my destination because of them.

We are a small NCI (National Coastwatch institution Lookout) based in Charlestown Cornwall, we are not connected to the mains therefore rely solely on Solar panels and a Wind Generator feeding a bank of batteries.
Recently our batterie units have become quite unreliable and past their usable life’s.
Dann from Truro BBL checked and replaced our units in double quick time and at an excellent price and gave me advice regarding their disposal.
As a member of the SAR services Our mission critical equipment are essential for us to provide the Coastguard with timely information regarding emergencies and incidents in St Austell bay, Dan’s prompt and excellent service has contributed greatly to this. Thoroughly recommended.

Just purchased a battery from Swindon Wilts BBL, excellent price, excellent customer service definitely recommend

Went into the Swindon store a few weeks ago and the staff there were very rude. Spoke to me like I was an idiot because I didn't know about the thing I went in to ask advice about. They seemed to be rushing to get me out of the store instead of helping with my choices. So I left and went elsewhere.

I went to collect a few items for work and the person who served me made a very inappropriate comment on me being cold and if he could warm me up if I wasn’t married. Unfortunately I will need to go back because my company will send me again in the future but I will never go as customer on my own.
Only a woman can understand what means being verbally harassed, I can assure you is not something easy to stand especially where you are working doing your duties, women are not welcome in this high density masculinity shop.

Matt and the team at BBL Batteries Swindon have been superb in helping us out with a standby battery. My partner and I have a lot of challenges in our lives, and Matt et al accomodated us, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond for us as did the delivery driver too. The price was the brilliant as well and nothing was too much trouble. We know where to go for our next car battery now too. Thank you BBL Swindon, if only all companies operated at this level.

Had a problem with a Lifos 68Ah battery purchased over a year ago from BBL Batteries which needed to be returned to Lifos under warranty. Lifos were a bit odd about this saying it had to be returned via BBL batteries. Andy at BBL Batteries Exeter did an outstanding job managing the return and replacement. He rang me regularly to keep me updated and I had the replacement battery within a week which is great as I'm away this weekend off grid. Thanks to Lifos for the replacement but why are you giving your retailers such a hard time? They even sent the replacement battery to BBL Batteries who had to pay to send it on to me. BBL Batteries covered all the courier costs. Well done BBL Batteries, outstanding customer service.

Absolute disgrace! Phoned to confirm stock and that they could manage VAT exemption for mobility scooter batteries which they confirmed. Travelled an hour to be told they wouldn’t manage the VAT exemption. Thanks for costing me £70 more than I needed it pay. AVOID!!

Called at truro shop today had very good service as always I've been shopping here for 24 years won't go anywhere else keep up the good work

I called the Swindon office to ask for a battery for my car. They were able to tell me which battery I needed, and offered it at a price cheaper than any others I had found on the market. An hour and a half later, it was on my doorstep! Incredible service! Very friendly too.
