Hello my name is David Wilson, I would just like to say a few words. Firstly althrough I left my course early Forklift - counter balance because of a crash, I have nothing but praise for Portull, from Roy, Keith who taught us the first couple of weeks but espeicially the FLT Fern, an outstanding instructor, who made the right call when needed and I understand why, Anyway just wanted to write this, and all the best for all students at Portull.

Great staff. Brilliant trainer's. Steve the first aider and in particular Paul jackson the lift truck trainer. Brilliant.

Absolutely outstanding place for training, my trainer Paul Jackson, great guy handled the course amazingly he gave us 1to1 training where it was needed. Absolutely recommend having this trainer

It’s given me a real opportunity to further myself in future employment, my trainer Paul Jackson was fantastic and was real understanding when I was going through a difficult time at home. He was really understanding however other instructors was watching my every move when I was in the top racking on my test and put me under a lot of pressure. At the end of the day I’d recommend portull training to anyone out there.

I've recently passed my forklift course with these, highly recommend them always polite, really enjoyed my instructor Paul Jackson, had a great sense of humour and gets along with everyone really well.

Fantastic training from great trainers. Paul was my instructor and had a fantastic approach to training, created a team spirit among the trainees and made everyone (including and expecially a novice with zero experience) feel at ease in a fun and great learning experience. 100% recommended

Very enjoyable and educational week at Portull. I was attending the novice counterbalance forklift course. The course stared well. Paul was my instructor, his approach to training was impeccable, he first made everyone feel welcome, he had us all interacting and created a team spirit amongst the delegates. Very adept trainer with a great sense of humour.

Many thanks to Paul Johnson best FLT instructor I’ve ever met, he’s really professional at what’s he’s doing, cheered me up and thought me through my mistakes and explain how to avoid them had a lot of laughter really nice guy. I’d like to thank Keith Evans as well really good teaching methods thought me through first aid in professional way had a laughter really nice guy as well, will definitely be coming back to get some more courses done.

I would like to say thank you to Paul Jackson for his help during my time with Portull. Absolutely quality bloke, friendly, easily approachable and can have a laugh, full of stories that had us all in stitches, quality lads on the course aswell I’d recommend Portull to anyone looking to get a ticket in FLT. I’d like to say thanks to Robyn aswell she got me through my practical and my exam with ease she’s an awesome instructor and really took her time with us again thanks Portull it was a blast.

I had Paul Jackson for 2 weeks for my forklift course and hope I get him next week to teach me for my practical!... I haven't got a bad thing to say about paul, hes the most laid back person I known you can have a good laugh with him, I get along with him very well, i love listening to his funny stories they make me laugh. he's helped me a lot since I've been here. And every time I see him at the training site he always asks if I'm ok and how I'm getting on, paul's always got that extra bit of time for you if you need it. Good man👍

Great course with patient, calm and helpful instructors. Just passed my training today having never driven before, I now feel confident and capable when behind the wheel of an FLT. Tutors were all supportive offering tailor made advice and going out of their way to ensure we all had the adequate attention given to help us through. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to gain this qualification.

I am writing this review has i was on the same forkliftruck course as Christopher king and the only person who was obnoxious was Christopher and he was on the truck longer than myself and the other lad he aslo was given the opportunity to sit his theory test again and walked out of the course I have Paul Jackson for the past 3week and i have no problems with him he is a very good tutor and a excellent instructor iwould recommend portull training toany one that's wanting to progress in there career's

Paul wasn’t been rude or offensive he was trying to help you but you made out like you knew better then Paul you were rude and childish we all had a fair go at everything but you didn’t want to listen or be cooperating with Paul I am still doing the corse
With Paul my self he’s been helping me even let me come in half hour early to come on the truck and practice I even witnessed my self Paul telling you can have a other go on the test so he did give you the chance to make it right but you took it upon your self to walk off I’ve even payed for this course my self out of my own money and you took two hours off me because you walked of and kicked off

5* for my instructor Paul for helping me push through the week for me to pass my course , couldn’t have asked for a better man and I’m proud I got him . He was very patient when i made little mistakes , and gave me great tips on how to do better next time . I had no experience coming into this and Paul has taught me so much .

I have just completed counterbalance training at Portull. The course was fun and informative. A big thanks to a great instructor (Paul). I had a couple of issues driving the forklift and my instructor really took the time and patience to help me get through it, also he made sure I understood everything he was telling me before moving on which was much appreciated. I would recommend the course to anyone looking to get their forklift licence.

The course would of been better if we could of used laptops or tablets instead of having to write because I’m dyslexic but the tutor was excellent & when it came to the actual FLT part the tutor was excellent aswell I told I got nervous when doing tests so he took that into consideration didn’t tell me when I was actually doing my test & I past with only a couple of faults so all in all if anyone asks me if I’d recommend Portull training I’d definitely say yes their a friendly helpful training centre that’s there to get you through your course

I gained my SIA license and my forklift counter balance certificate. My teachers were excellent and I could not recommend Portull enough. If you're looking to gain some new skills, then give them a try. I've had so many new job opportunities since I finished.
