Amazing service

What an amazing service and so easy. Low price. Delivery was smooth and so well run. Driver was in touch via whatsapp and responded to messages. He came when expected. Delivery was quoted 2-3 days but was done within 12 hours. Took all the stress out of moving a big box across the country. Highly recommend.

Amazing company

Amazing company, way better price than any of their competitors! Great service from the courier all round, really good communication from all the team, and the most amazing thing is the chat function on their website. No chatbot, just a real person to talk to!!! Blew my mind

Great service

Great service. Easy to use. Drivers ( I have had two different ones on two different occasions) both were exceptionally helpful, polite and cheerful. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

The driver was very communicative

The driver was very communicative and very nice. He also took care wrapping our item (a drop leaf table) and securing it properly in his truck so it arrived undamaged. Still, he ended up only being able to do the pick-up on a day that I had not specified and I had to scramble to make sure the seller of the item was available for the hand-over. It was all a bit nerve-wracking, but worked out beautifully in the end.

Darius could not have been nicer or…

Darius could not have been nicer or more helpful. Unbelievably swift service - keeping us informed all the way, and arriving at the times promised. Made sure the job was absolutely complete before leaving. Will definitely be using again!!

Great service!

Very easy to set this up and even on flexi where our mattress could have been collected any day from Monday to Friday, they came on Monday and delivered the same day. Extremely helpful and professional and emails with photos attached at all stages. Would highly recommend.

Would never use this company again
Booked pick up and same day delivery
Courier cancelled but replacement was soon found so pick up on nominated day and time was fulfilled.
Collection was put back to next day and the refund for same day delivery was issued.
Courier estimated delivery for 1pm which then got put back to 4pm then 5.30
Delivery was eventually at 9pm
Porta themselves have not issued any compensation due to the issues nor have they issued any form of apology. There fore I will not be a returning customer.
There prices are competitive

Thank you for the feedback, and we're sorry the delay was so frustrating.

For context: the original courier cancelled due to a personal emergency, and although we sorted a replacement quickly, the new courier was then held up for hours at an earlier collection with no way to get away.

Once that happened there was genuinely nothing we or he could do to bring the delivery forward, though he did keep you updated and delivered as soon as he was released. We refunded the same day delivery fee as soon as the timings slipped.

We did apologise at the time, and we were still reviewing the job for a goodwill payment when this review came in, so that hadn't reached you yet. The offer stands. Send us a message and one of the team can have a look.

Apologies again for the delivery delay.

We wish you well with your future deliveries, whoever you use, though we'd genuinely like the chance to show you a better experience in future.

All easy

Easy to arrange, pick up and delivery happened to schedule. Shah, our ‘moving partner’, was polite, friendly and always kept in touch about timings.

Good communication

Good communication, polite and professional driver. Cost is a little high but what can you expect with fuel prices as they are. They did the job in the time frame, what more can you ask for?
