Don't purchase from this company if you are paying from outside the US. The details provided by them in terms of Wire-transfer failed twice in my case and I was charged $50 by the intermediary US bank for the second failed bank transaction. To top it off, Pleasant Hill Grain cancelled my order during the first and second attempt and did not inform me when they did so and that despite of being in regular email contact with their customer service. After contacting them, the best they could offer was a 'discount going on via our newsletter for $50 off.' on another item. This is far from what I would describe what a professional business and customer service looks like

Salespeople are dishonest. Return policy is a scam. 10% restocking plus have to pay both returns. Shipping to you and shipping back. Don’t use. Avoid.

I would never buy from this company again! I bought a flour mill, I got a super aggressive email from a weirdo lady (at a different website than originally ordered) demanding that I call her or my order would be cancelled. What kind of scam horrible website is this? I would rather get my mill from Amazon than these scammers.

Bought a $4K Famaj Mixer. Item broke shortly after, but it was past the 30 day return period. They offered to still take it back, but I had to pay the original outbound shipping and the return shipping. (Greater than $1500.00 total). Business advertises free shipping for iems over $75. This is the first scam. Then, since the item was under warranty for 1 year, they started shipping me parts to fix the machine myself? Then, they started telling me, without having looked at the broken machine, that it was because of my generator power. They stated that this machine was sensitive to generator power. No word of this in the Famag paperwork though. So, on the one hand they are blaming my generator because the mixer is 'so sensitive". But on the the other hand,, they sent me parts and told me to replace then. Switches, power buttons, the entire control board, safety switches, everything. They literally just told me to do it myself. Crazy. No field service rep. No "take it to a certified tech" and we'll reiburse costs for diagnosis. Then to top it all off, they stated that thet only way to get it serviced under warranty is to ship in back to them for almost $800. Then you have to pay to have it shipped back after they fix it. THis is the biggest scam ever. They try to recoup "free shipping" and return shipping on returns, and they have zero capacity to carry out a warranty plan without shipping a heavy, large item back to them. Pathetic business with shady advertisings who will reip you hard when they get the chance. I am looking at a $4000 loss because the only option is to spend $780 each way to get it to them for warranty work. Total scam. Do not buy a large item from these people. They cannot and will not execute their warranty plan without taking you for hudreds/thousands of dollars. Stay away.

Had the best experience with this company. We were in a pickle when another company told us last minute they were delaying the oven we had ordered. Pleasant Hill Grain went above and beyond to help us get an oven in time to save our business. They've made a life long customer!

I am overseas and I attempted purchase a couple of items for my wife in the States. They declined my order because I have an overseas credit card and bank. They want me to take a day off and go to my bank and set up a wire transfer for $280 and pay the extra fee for a wire transfer. Every other company that I have utilized in the USA has no issues taking my overseas credit card for payment. Pleasant Hills Grain makes it difficult at best for anyone overseas to purchase items for their family back in the USA. Very disappointed, they need to get with modern technology and set it up to accept credit cards from overseas. they need to make it easier for American military and contractors that are working overseas to conduct business with their company.

The Junior Grain Grinder functions very, very good and it also ground my Waffle Pantry Pearl Sugar! I have two 55 pound or 25 Kg bags of Pearl Sugar. One bag was ground into what resembles granulated sugar, on Saturday, 2-9-2019! The mill worked very well! I put my mill together and ground my pearl sugar into a powder similar to granulated sugar! The sugar makes very good hot cocoa and it’s all organic and very tasty! These 2 bags will last me for months!
