They talked me into a down-payment on a possible move to New Mexico. Then, reassigned the move to Long distance moving. I explained to the salesmen Ken, if the home purchase didn't go through the following week, I wanted his assurance my money would be return. The co Long distance moving kept my $ 6000.00 deposit. Don't use this company and never give them the down payment they want up front.

Its been horrible trying to get my…

Its been horrible trying to get my mom's furniture from Florida to Oklahoma. They picked it up on 2/18 and it was supposed to be here at 6pm today. Now they are saying 8:30 to 9pm. It only takes 3 days to get here with you 500 miles a day limit. They will be here until midnight putting it all back together. I just had surgery and really mad we have to deal with this. Ponca City OK is not that big. We were told they ware in our town over an hour ago

The team was overall friendly and seemed very confident on the service during booking. Multiple calls to discuss inventory list and trust me we had this nailed down to a “T”, the only thing we forgot to add was two patio chairs.

The move included 50 boxes and included full pack and un-pack Along with up to 60 days of storage as we did not know closing date on our new home.

A few days prior we confirmed inventory once again and I was told the quoted inventory was on a shared truck and it would be $2k more for an upgrade to a dedicated truck. We went ahead and did this.

The night before the load-out the actual moving provider that Pinnacle sub-contracts out called and confirmed.

On pick up morning this team advised the contents of the home is DOUBLE cubic feet from what is quoted. Initially an additional $13k was requested (cash on the spot) doubling the move. We settled on $5k after a a mess of a time to sort it out.

Overage is expected slightly, but 2x on morning of is insane. Pinnacle does this for a living and to grossly mis-quote the cubic feet this bad is awful.

Delivery day the sub-contractor further sub-contracted the delivery out further. All contents arrived great and this provider was the same hired labor that boxed the house. These guys did great in delivery but mentioned that their sub contractor stiffed them cash as well for the job. They were merely doing it to maintain their reputation.

My honest suggestion is cut the middle man out, Pinnacle is a waste. Nice people but their business is a wreck. GO DIRECT with a provider.

If you are moving in the Vegas area or Southern Utah area give Arturo a call his guys are fantastic.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware
Told broker all items I had, was listed on bill of lading. I even called multiple times to confirm the cost prior, and explain that it took a 26 ft truck to move us

However, delivery day came and the subcontractor Giovanni Van Lines out of Dallas Texas movers came and demanded additional 8000 to move us and stated I only paid for 491 cu ft
I Wanted to cancel, however they stated I would lose my deposit 1500
Demanded I pay 1000.00 through Zelle before they would load my items
So I had them load up 491 cu ft
Stated 491 cu ft is only 1 bed, dresser and table, and said I was at my limit
3 weeks later, stop payment on 1500 and dispute charges with bank However, I’m out 1000 because it was paid through Zelle

2-3 weeks have come and no delivery
The company is refusing to deliver my items because I did a stop payment for a delivery that has never occurred

Beware, I was concerned about the reviews thinking maybe people were trying to save money and not tell the broker all the items
I soon found out, the bad reviews are real, do not use them
This organization is a total scam
I have reported to FMSCA, Texas attorney office, FBI and BBB for fraudulent business practices
I will probably will not recover my items but I want to protect others, these guys need to be fined and taken out of business

Terrible experience

I made arrangements with Pinnacle Moving but the actual moving company who moved our stuff was Giovanni Van Lines.

Overall we are very disappointed with both companies.

The movers showed up late (I had to call multiple times). They were late on the delivery date too. They damanaged some stuff.

I was charged a lot more than the initial "estimates". You don't know the actual price you are going to pay until the truck is at your house when everything is already in boxes and you have to move.

They have a process where you can submit a "moving claim" to complain and ask for refunds. They offered me a few bucks for all the stuff that was damaged and said nothing about the overcharges. I was even charged for stuff that was supposed to be free according to the document Pinnacle gave me (more than $1000 for "packing materials"). These companies are a joke.

I moved on July 3rd, and this company scammed me out of $3,300. From start to finish, this was a calculated, predatory operation designed to deceive and exploit customers.
On the day of my move, they loaded only half my belongings onto the truck before suddenly telling me I’d have to pay double because there “wasn’t enough space.” The space and price had already been clearly quoted and agreed upon in advance — yet they doubled the charge once my items were already on their truck, leaving me with no choice but to pay their ransom just to get my belongings moved.
To make matters worse, they demanded cash only, refusing any other form of payment — a classic red flag for scammers trying to dodge accountability and leave no trace.
They also tried to extort an extra $250 to move a small exercise bike, which had already been included in my original quote. The movers on-site refused to touch it unless I paid immediately. This is blatant deception and a bait-and-switch scheme.
Every single item they touched arrived damaged, scratched, or broken — not one piece survived the move intact. Their carelessness and lack of professionalism are beyond comprehension.
Since that day, I’ve made dozens of phone calls, left countless messages, and received nothing but rude, nasty attitudesand AI-generated script responses that sound robotic and insincere. They clearly have no interest in helping or resolving legitimate issues.
I’ve also reached out to the Better Business Bureau repeatedly for months, and every time I’m told to “send an email and wait for a call.” No one ever calls. No one ever responds. This company hides behind silence, denial, and empty words.
They are liars, scammers, and predators, preying on people during stressful times. They will say anything to gain your trust and your business, and the moment they have your money, they vanish — leaving you with damaged property and zero accountability.
Their complete lack of cooperation, honesty, and integrity is absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful. This company should be investigated for fraud and shut down immediately.
Do not, under any circumstances, trust this company. They are professional con artists masquerading as movers, and if you value your money, your belongings, or your sanity, stay as far away as possible.

SCAM COMPANY

SCAM COMPANY. WE CALLED FOR A QUOTE, THEY DEMANDED A DEPOST FEE OF 1300.00 DAYS LATER WE FOUND OUT FROM OTHERS THIS IS NOT A CREDIBLE COMPANY. WE CANCLED WITH THEM BUT THEY REFUSE TO GIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK. I HAD TO HIRE A LAWYER AND FILE A REPORT. THIS COMPANY IS DISGUSTING.

This company is a Scam

This company is a Scam. They are brokers who hire the cheapest movers to get more profit. Long story short I ended up paying more than double my initial quote, dealt with the worst type of movers, didn’t get any of the perks we agreed on, and they didn’t solve any of my problems with the moving company. They didn’t help me on anything. Do not use them!!!! You will regret it.

Look for companies that actually own the transportation! Avoid brokers, specially Pinnacle.

They triple the estimate once they have the furniture hostage. They don't take checks or credit cards because we would for sure dispute their robbery and they know it. They also gave a fake number for customer service. They should be out of business and in jail.

Save your time and money: Don't contract with Pinnacle

I am writing on behalf of my mother, who used Pinnacle Moving Group in her recent move cross-country. In her initial conversation with an employee named Mark, she provided information on the kinds and quantity of furniture she wanted moved and an estimate on how many boxes she would have. She was quoted a price of $6,800 and told the size of the truck in cubic feet. When she contacted the company for their quality check about a week prior to the moving date, she was told by employees named Robert and Brunson that the size of truck initially reserved for her would be insufficient for her space needs, and that she her new quote was $18,900, roughly 2.5x the original price. They agreed to lower the cost to around $12,000, given the initial mixup, and promised to send her two 26ft trucks on her moving day. She was given another contract, which again described the size of the trucks in square footage, and on the day of her move, much smaller trucks arrived. These trucks were insufficient to her space needs, and she was told that she may need to pay an additional $10,000 to move the remainder of her belongings. During moving day, my mother tried to get in contact with Robert and Brunson, but they remained mysteriously unavailable and she could not reach them to ask for corrective measures.

I've read on previous reviews that Pinnacle only provides an estimate of a customer's space needs to the companies they broker with, but to have such a gross underestimate happen twice is egregious and has been extremely costly. Additionally, it is my feeling that Pinnacle describes the sizes of their trucks in cubic feet rather than length to intentionally obscure their size to the customers, many of whom won't have an intrinsic understanding how how big an area of square footage actually is.

I had a terrible experience with…

I had a terrible experience with Pinnacle Moving. They act only as a third-party broker who books your move, not the actual movers. Before my move, I was given a written and verbal confirmation that the price would not change as long as the inventory matched. I even confirmed in writing and over the phone that no additional items were being added.

Despite this, the movers showed up hours outside the scheduled window and suddenly demanded an extra $1,000 (later reduced to $600). I felt pressured to pay on the spot, even though I had followed all instructions and my inventory was exactly as quoted.

To make matters worse, I reached out immediately to their customer service. I was told a manager was unavailable, and since then I have never received a call back or even an email response. Completely unprofessional and misleading.

This company is not transparent and leaves customers stuck with surprise charges at the last minute. I strongly recommend avoiding them.

I hired Pinnacle Moving Group for a move

I hired Pinnacle Moving Group for a move from Houston, TX to Lafayette, LA, and they subcontracted the job to Luxury Movers. The entire experience has been a nightmare. My move was originally set for July 18, with July 19 as a backup only if it started early. Instead, I got less than 24 hours’ notice that it would be on the 19th, and the movers arrived late — outside the 9–10 a.m. window, not starting until nearly noon.
Because of the delay, I had to take my own Ubers to the storage unit, pay extra charges, and rush to the airport, leaving the movers to take everything without oversight. Pinnacle also tried to change the agreed 50/25/25 payment schedule into a demand for 70% upfront, which was never in my contract.
For delivery, they have been telling me since Saturday that my items would arrive, but nothing has shown up. Customer service does not answer calls or emails, and both Pinnacle and Luxury Movers refuse to offer any refund despite the terrible service.
While my belongings were eventually picked up, this company has been unprofessional, dishonest, and unresponsive at every step. Absolutely do not recommend to anyone.

RUN from these people. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!!! This is in response to their comment on my review. They instructed me to email them and a supervisor would be in contact with me. The people they sent to my home never received money, so how do they owe me a refund. These people mislead me telling me THEY were a moving company. In fact Kenny and Emmit lead me to believe they are a moving company and their movers would be there on moving day, once they received my deposit all communication stopped, everything every single thing they told me was a lie. This a Fake company BEWARE!!! Do Not Do Buissness with these people !!! They have changed their name many many times because of the fraudulent actions they do .

SCAM COMPANY

This company is a SCAM - any good review is AI generated. The bad reviews are scrubbed. Please do your research and be smarter than I was. The sales team are all very responsive until the day/week of the move where they completely ghost you, and put you into contact with the "customer service team" that knows/does nothing for you. On the morning of my FULL SERVICE move once the "movers" finally did show up (2 days later than they told me they would be there) there were only three very small men to pack, load, and move my entire 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house that I had gone over in detail with the operations team for hours on the phone. The "moving team" proceeded to tell me this move was going to be double what they initially quoted me ($10K MORE!!!!!) and demanded the money before they even started packing up. We told them to leave and went with All My Sons moving company who moved us seamlessly a few days later. We were told there would be absolutely zero reimbursement. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY - THE SALES PEOPLE WILL TRY TO SELL YOU AND THEN WILL NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES AGAIN - DO NOT DO IT

All pricing adjustments, on-site assessments, and service timelines are handled by the carrier once they arrive. If a carrier proposes changes to the cost based on actual inventory or services requested, that is determined by them and is outside of our control.

DO NOT USE PINNACLE. They are cheap for a reason. They contract out multiple services so I had multiple points of contact and no one knew when my items would be delivered once they were picked up. They set very unrealistic expectations for my long distance move. I was told delivery would take 2-3 days which turned into 3-5 days which turned into up to 10 days.
