This was my wife and my first visit to israel. We had been planning it for 3 years, so our expectations were very high due to it being cancelled due to Covid and personal issues.
Now I am a very driven and focused person, and I don’t like to waste even one second of time especially on vacation. I just want to say that our tour guide, Mark Gershom exceeded any tour guide that I’ve been around, heard of, or personally been led by. My wife and I are missionaries and lead short term teams in our country of ministry, and I thought we were pretty good at schedule, points of interest, mix of down time, and pushing a group and finding that happy medium to accommodate all in the group and their limitations and strengths, but let me tell you, I learned more from Mark on how to lead and manage time, also information was always applicable and VERY informative. I’m not sure we could have fit anymore into the 8 days we integrated with him. We all drank from a firehose of information. He will give the group information from every angle and viewpoint. Definitely has a photographic memory to come up with all this information. Would love him to come to our country and give seminars and workshops to church leaders.
He was high energy, humorous, dramatic, and joyful. He loved what he was doing and is a great relationship builder, with all he meets, those in the group he’s leading, and those he interacts with in all the sights we visited. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer and was teachable if there was something he was working through on his knowledge. Felt safe and comfortable. The tour was very organized and we saw way more than what was on the original agenda with points of interest on the way. Packed full of knowledge and information and was well communicated.
Just a side note, our bus driver was OUTSTANDING a real legend behind the wheel on these narrow streets. We clapped several times with some of his maneuvers like he was driving a little car, but it was a 40’+ 50 passenger bus. 😳incredible driving!!!
All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommend it and Mark. Make sure you bring your track shoes we covered much real estate (75k+steps) for the week!

Tim and company at Pilgrim are the best I have traveled with them twice now with the last time being in November 2022 I made my sixth trip to Israel with an added extension to Greece. Every detail was taken care of. The accommodations, the travel coach and driver were exceptional. Our guide met us at the airport and stayed with us at every stop. Tim and his team at Pilgrim did a fantastic job for us! They did a great job on pre-trip planning and listening. The follow through and attentiveness to our ideas and wishes was also top notch. Our guide was phenomenal! Highly recommend them!

The itinerary was well planned and allowed us to visit a variety of sites maximizing our time in Israel. Our tour guide was excellent. The value of the trip for the money was the great. We have always loved traveling with Pilgrim tours. This latest trip to Italy was no exception. Every detail was looked after, and the guide/tour Director was outstanding. He even took us for two /unofficial unplanned walking tours of sites the group wanted to see.

We had a guide who was a Messianic Jew! Jeremy was superb, leading us to all of the items on the list and a couple extras. Jeremy showed patience with those who were not ready for a moderately strenuous tour, and was very informing and engaging with the people on the tour. It was at least 10 times better than my experience in April 2022 with Witte Tours! We learned so much. I can't wait to go back again!

I have lead three custom group tours to Israel with Pilgrim Tours in the last year (October 2021, June 2022, October 2022). They have been excellent in all phases: planning, arranging accommodations, problem solving, etc. Their prices are reasonable and competitive, and customer service has been excellent. I’m planning two more trips for the future with them right now.

I can’t speak highly enough about my tour through the holy lands in Israel. Our tour guide, Jeremy, was professional, warm, very knowledgeable and had a fantastic sense of humor. The trip was life-changing! It felt very personal and well thought out. The hotels and bus were very comfortable. We felt very safe the entire time. Cannot recommend this tripenough.

My wife and I did the Best of Israel First Class 10 day tour with Pilgrim Tours. It was a fantastic experience with so many of the historical events recorded in the Bible coming to life! Our tour guide, Irit, provided knowledgeable commentary throughout and was very professional, going above and beyond to help me recover some travel money I'd lost.

My wife has coeliac but Pilgrim Tours notified the hotels in advance and gluten free options were available everywhere.

The locations of the hotels/resorts we stayed at were brilliant - the Kibbutz right by the Sea of Galilee was perfectly situated and likewise the hotel by the Dead Sea.

There were many highlights - a very clear presentation of the gospel by the Garden Tomb guide, Stuart (from "The Garden Tomb (Jerusalem) Association"), the meal at Abraham's tent, going up to the Temple Mount, the boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and many other things besides.

The days were quite long, often beginning with breakfast at 6:45/7:00 am and then setting off at 7:45/8:00am and finishing around 4pm but we were able to see and do a lot as a result so I'd say it was definitely worth it. (However, the hotel alarm call an hour before the start of breakfast was a little bit early for my liking so I confess to disconnecting the telephone!)

Theologically, a futurist, premillennial (and, I think fair to say, dispensational) interpretation of scripture was presented when visiting sites of prophetic significance (such as Megiddo, the Mount of Olives, etc.) and the presentation at the Friends of Zion museum on the last day was certainly from a Christian Zionist perspective. However, this otherwise didn't come up that much so in my view, people holding to different eschatological views shouldn't be put off by this (there was an amillennnial evangelical Anglican from Australia on the tour who I think still enjoyed it!).

I enjoyed getting to know the other people in the group - there were just over 30 of us (2 Canadians, 2 Australians, my wife and I being British and the rest were Americans from various states).

Overall it was a fantastic trip and I'd definitely book with Pilgrim Tours again if doing another Biblical tour.

We took the 13 days Greece and Israel tour and it was amazing. 3 days in Greece and 8 days and Israel. The additional days were for travelling from and back to our home. The informational brohures we received from Pilgrim Tour was on point, which really prepared us for this trip. I must say it was a life changing/transforming experience for me. Sitting by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, floating on the Dead Sea, walking where Jesus walked, baptizing in the Jordan River and just being in Israel, the Holy Land, was a refreshment to my spirit. Our guide Irit was really good with informing, teaching and engaging us on our spiritual quest. Also sharing her testimony how she became a Messianic Jew was very interesting. Irit and our driver Kefah worked well together and it was a blessing to have them both. God bless them. The food was good with many choices, and the hotels were nice, clean and comfortable. Overall it was a great experience and we are happy we took this tour (our first) with Pilgrim Tour. We are looking forward to taking another trip with Pilgrim Tour. Thank you Pilgrim Tour, keep up the good work!!!

Best guided tour my wife and I were ever on. Our tour guide was fun and had such a great knowledge of the country, people, and best places to go shop, eat, and tour. Our bus driver was excellent keeping us safe and the bus clean and was so friendly and helpful. The hotels and meals were first class on an economy budget! We will tour with Pilgrim again!!

Pilgrim tours is who I'll be recommending people to travel with. We've been trying to get to Israel for two years and finally made it!! Great company from booking to on the ground with great guides. All details taken care of with great hotels, bus, and the best guides!! Wonderful experience!

I’ve just returned from my 7th tour of the Holy Land and 1st tour of Egypt! The people of Pilgrim Tours are 5 star in their attention to detail and they made sure EVERY matter concerning our tour was well thought through and handled with the utmost professionalism !

we had a great experience in Israel with Pilgrim Tours. Everything went very well and there were no glitches or problems of any kind. The bus and driver were top notch as were the hotels and daily breakfast buffets. Our tour guide was great as his depth of knowledge of the people, history and languages Israel was quite amazing. Incredible, phenomenal and the best tour EvEr! Book this tour, you won't regret it. Tour guide Mickey and driver Dove were amazing, the group we toured with were the best most amazing people. The 10 day best of Israel trip was outstanding. Hotels and accommodations were perfect and we had an wonderful time. Can't wait to go on another tour with Pilgrim.
