Gorgeous pies as always! Love these, takes me back to sitting in Lochinver enjoying my first one! So easy to order, excellent communication and delivery. What's not to love!

Since 2003 we've been sending out a piece of Lochinver through Pies by Post. All of our pies are baked at Lochinver Larder, in the north west corner of Scotland. The larder has become the ideal pit stop for those on road trips around the Highlands and Islands, for backpackers and beach goers... And if you want to take a piemento home with you, we post them straight from our larder to yours!

Proper Pies
These pies came 700 miles to me in excellent condition and the fillings were second to none. Everyone in my party of six enjoyed them and the favourite was venison and cranberry. Well done to the Larder Team. We will be back for more.

Would definitely buy again
A friend raved about these pies so I ordered … Amazing pies (got both sweet and savoury) … Apple pie 1000/10, the pastry was just perfection! Love the savoury ones too, absolutely rammed with filling. Packed super well and blocks were still frozen when delivered

A very satisfied customer
Having visited the shop on my NC 500 trip last year and enjoyed the pies which are the best I’ve ever eaten I thought I should have a supply delivered. The process was very simple and efficient and of course consumption has started tasting as I remember.

Venison and apple/blackcurrant pies
The venison and cranberry pies where excellent. The apple and blackcurrant pies were are also very nice but had a disappointing low number of blackcurrants in them.

Second to none
We spent the last 2weeks of May driving the Nc500,and found the best pies ever, wonderful taste,full to the brim with delicious fillings and pastry to die for. The service is second to none on the delivery service 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We discovered this pie shop on a recent…
We discovered this pie shop on a recent trip to Drumbeg and tried the pies a couple of times and were not disappointed. We decided to give pies by post a go once home and again they were lovely. The pastry is good and the filling full of everything. No gristle and very tasty. Not the cheapest but as always you get what you pay for.

Wow wow wow
Wow wow wow. What an amazing place. On our NC500 trip and the Lochinver Larder is definitely worth a stop. Bought a few to try and have just eaten the steak and ale pie. The best pie I've had in years! Can't wait to try the others. So good!

Pies excellent as always. Delays were beyond your control (Royal Mail!) and that was difficult. Can you get better guarantees from them? Handling from your end was very good!
