Essential for puppy training

I have used Piddle Patch for a year for our teeny toy poodle. The grass has always arrived fresh and green and has remarkably long staying power. I never thought that I would spend so long standing over a patch of grass cheering encouragement at a small dog and be so delighted with the results! I would thoroughly recommend the metal tray to go with it, which may seem expensive but is absolutely worth it. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic idea and product! I initially used the Piddle patch for house training my toy poodle puppy which made the whole process so easy! As I live in an apartment, I continue to have one on my terrace as it’s super helpful to be able to give my dog quick access to the patch first thing in the morning or last thing at night. The grass patch looks smart too and most importantly doesn’t smell!

Unfortunately the quality of these patches has gone down a lot. They used to be good, fresh and durable. After 7 months without ordering them because I didn’t need them the new ones are so disappointing. I received one that had bald patches and was extremely dry, I messaged customer services asking for a refund and instead they directly send me a new one. I didn’t say anything to give it another go in case it was a one off issued. The next one didn’t have bald patches but was also terribly dry and died after a week. I have a tiny toy poodle that had only used it a couple of times as I was home most of the time and could take him for walks and even spraying it with water didn’t lasts as they arrive almost dead. Stay away from this company as they charge a lot for dead grass.

Used Piddle Patch for our dog for the last5 years. We live in a flat, but have a balcony. It meant I could build a perspex box (with open sides), place it on the balcony, and place a piddle patch (with the metal tray they supply) in it to use as a doggy toilet. Saved us countless treks up and down stairs. We would get about 2 weeks use of a patch before it became a bit stinky, so we had regular deliveries, but well worth it.

Piddle Patch has been a life saver!
We are leaving in a flat with a small balcony and having this little patch of grass there has worked wonders to toilet trained our pup. It is worth every penny and their customer service team is kind and super reactive.
We highly recommend it, specifically if you live in a flat!

We couldn't recommend Piddle Patch highly enough. When we brought our miniature Schnauzer, Gunther, home, we were living without easy access to a garden and at a complete loss about how to toilet-train him. We tried the fake grass ones, and he simply refused. Piddle Patch was an absolute godsend. Zero stars. Ordered and dpd failed to even ring my doorbell and said they missed me despite being in. As advised by Piddlepatch, I downloaded the app, had a safe place designated, neighbours and a local pick up detailed. Day 2 dpd failed to deliver again, even though I was in. Didnt' follow any of the inapp info. My doorbell was not even rung again. Piddlepatch don't seem bothered that dpd havent delivered and its okay for people to sit around waiting for deliveries day after day. Terrible customer service from dpd and Piddlepatch. A shame as it seemed such a good product but DPD are generally terrible.

I live in a flat with an outdoor area but no grass.since I started using piddle patch my dog has been able to do a last visit to relive her self before bed time.she loves using it and I wouldn't use any thing else for her now.

The service has been fantastic and served us well in our flat for our dog Bella. Delivery has always been reliable and customer service is always so helpful and efficient in helping me with questions/changes to our subscription - very much appreciated!

We’re currently in the process of moving to a house with a garden. We are very grateful to piddle patch, for offering a wonderful alternative for our doggie toileting while we have lived in a flat. We have used the grass since day one.
Phoebe's a beautiful American Akita girl, she moved in with us at 8 weeks of age, and she's 18 months now.
She's also one of the main reasons we’re moving to a house. She has definitely outgrown our flat!

DO NOT BUY FOR PUPPY TOILET TRAINING IT DOES NOT WORK, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
Doesn't work for my pup and I am surprised it works for any (but having looked at the reviews it only seems to work for celebrity pups, so maybe me and my furball are just not high class enough for it to work for us)
In my experience it acts as a distraction. This is effectively a dog litter tray, so might be useful for those who live in city flats with no overnight access to an outdoor area until your dog can go all night without needing the toiler, but a waste of money for those who have access to an outside area. Do not fall for it making it easier to housebreak your pup and better than fake grass. If you have access to an outdoor area fake grass is just as, if not more, successful because they are less able to chew it. I bought this for my 9 week old pup to encourage toilet training before I could take her for walks. I used it outside in my yard which is a combination of fake grass and concrete. My pup, like most, loves to eat all living greenery (amongst other things) and the piddle patch was no different. She ate the piddle patch and quite happily peed and pooped on the fake grass/concrete, so this basically was a very expensive toy for my pup. Now, at almost 16 weeks she is able to go out for walks and the piddle patch is just a boredom buster in the backyard while I wait for her to toilet. She never eats grass on her walks, but if I am trying to get her to toilet in the yard the piddle patch is like her personal salad bar and a great distraction to stop her from concentrating on her business.
Interestingly there is also no option that I can see to post a review on their own website, so very clever marketing there. I would advise to avoid at all costs for puppies, the best purpose I see for this is for adult dogs who are unable to get outside due to injury but are already trained to go on grass.

This was very helpful to train our puppy and it was nice to not have to use these plastic pads.
We have a little patio so we had it outside.

Essential for toilet training a puppy, especially if you live in a city!

Just started to use piddle patches for our puppy. Bizarre that they will not ship any for 2.5 weeks over Christmas. Of course I wound understand if they adjusted the schedule, but for a subscription service like this to just shut for 2.5 weeks is unprofessional.

I've been using Piddle Patch since bringing home my puppy almost a year ago. The grass is consistently good quality and customer service is always very helpful. It's easy to switch shipment dates or pause the subscription for a bit just by emailing in. My dog is very well housetrained now!

I want to say how great the patch has been. I have a litter of pups right now and I started using yr patch last week. I’ve literally got 4 week old pups using the grass. Ok a few mistakes happening but I’m blown away. Usually I use the artificial grass and I’ve never had pups so young being attracted to it. I think you should really push this to puppy breeders as the constant clearing up wee etc is the downside of puppy rearing. For me, this litter has been so easy. I’m expecting my 2nd patch on Thursday and this one is still going strong probably due to it being a small litter of only 3. Well done. I wish you lots of success. Sue

Been using these patches for our cavapoo on our apartment terrace for years, we tried alternatives but always came back to these, super reliable and great service - moving to a house with a garden now so no longer needed but would recommend to anyone without a garden!

Really good service and has saved having to clean the balcony every day! Genius idea and works perfectly.
