too many commercials and they are the same back to back to back to back! And no it is not the same length as other tv providers!

Philo is terrible! It’s just shows a blank screen and you can’t even load any streaming on your smart TV. It also took one of my favorite shows that streamed on Paramount from me. So it’s personal. Screw you Philo

For $28 and cant even get the app to load is ridiculous. Cant see no shows cant watch no shows buy yall still charge. What am i paying for a black screen? If something finally loads it plays for about a minute then cuts off to buffering again. Bs.

This company is trash. I canceled all my subscriptions through a person but they still charged my card and when I called said they couldn't find my phone call n wohld not refund my money. Complete bull crap and would not recommend them to anyone!

The worst that I’ve ever had. More commercial time than content time. A terrible service. Never again.

Signed up for the FREE trial on our smart tv. Used another device when switching rooms to watch, which evidently already had a free trial at some point so my free trial was cancelled and takes you to a screen to pay. I didn’t even pay for the app and it was giving me a headache , can’t imagine subscribing

Signed up for a “FREE” 7 day trial and it still took money out of my account. It was only a dollar but sketch and false advertising. Also way too many adds don’t do it

Signed up with a 7 day free trial. Money was taken out after the 7 days, which was fine, then philo deactivated my account. So I paid 28 dollars for a free trial. Called customer support, was told they could not find proof of a payment. I sent a screenshot of my bank statement. Still no refund or access to philo.

Signed up last night to watch an episode of Yellowstone and check out the channel. Had to run downstairs twice just to complete the signup. In one episode there were 20 minutes of commercials. I was a little annoyed at $28 a month and assumed it would be commercial free. Tried to fast forward through the commercials and it jumped to the end of the episode and immediately started another show I had no interest in. Trying to cancel today and it does not show up on my Amazon subscriptions and Philo won't do anything to cancel my subscription.

Watched a 60 minute program and it had 20 commercials.. Unacceptable

Wow, some of these reviews..... I chose Philo because it had most of the channels I wanted (and lot I don't care about), and the price is better than most. My only complaint right now is the changes in the channel guide-- making it difficult to find things I have paused or things I want to watch that have already been on. Please return to listing other things on a given channel.
I have an antenna for local channels.

Excessive commercials, many of which are in another language. Customer service just shines you on. Not very pleased with it.

Whats with all of the Scout commercials? Every other commercial is about the Scout vehicle. Its overkill. So much that I am ending my membership! ENOUGH! Also, the quality of the programs visually has gone down. Its not happening on my other streams. Back to cable I guess. Too bad, it was a good concept for a while.

Not being able to block r-rated scary ads is a lost customer. I NOR MY CHILD should have to sit there and be woken up by “selling your soul to the devil” and screaming ads. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I’m sure there are PLENTY of parents out there in agreement. I understand some people don’t bat an eye, but there should be controls on vulgar things as such. I’m so pissed. Also in complete agreement with everyone else 20% show-80%ads NOT WORTH A PENNY

App is NOT user friendly and I just hate the navigation of it in general down to fast forwarding and rewinding. It’s just bad. I’ve never thought I would have to leave a review on a streaming app. But here we are. Definitely won’t be renewing

I would not recommend this to anyone because first off it is not more than 70 channels on there, and for these people to raise the price to $28 is ridiculous! It always cuts out or stops in the middle of the show when I'm watching TV. It's disgusting how you guys try to scam people out of their money. What you need to do is lower the price to where people can afford it and then come up with a package deal or something that can benefit your customers! This will remain with one star from me because this is just ridiculous and waste of people's money!

Decided to renew after a while away. Chose to cancel after learning recordings are lost when subscription is over. Would renew if this were not the case. Requested an immediate cancelation...and was told this would be a one time courtesy??? After only being subbed for 5 mins??? Said there was no refund policy. If it was like another half a month of subscribing yes I can see a no refund, but not when I just subbed that day for not even a full hour, and then you say in a shady way it is a one time refund. I now see why this service is rated poorly. Oh well. Sure will miss MeTV but not enough to be taken for a sucker.

Philo keeps cutting out after 5-10 minutia of working .It keeps coming up is Philo can't connect to the internet .Customer care was a joke and provided zero assistance. Funny how none of my other streaming channels have issues just Philo

This company is completely shady. I did the free trial and cancelled before the week was over. Then after 2 months I noticed they still billed me for 2 months even though I cancelled. When I contacted them, they stayed they showed no cancellation and I should have been notified of the charges to my email. But I never received any emails from them, I checked my junk folder also. Run away, they will make unauthorized charges. Now I have to go dispute with my credit card company. Stay away!
