Scam
Scam. First, you have to pay just to contact sellers (I paid $7 for a 1 month subscription when looking for a new pet). Next, the animal that I was looking at was listed as local (south jersey). Later that week the same animals were located in California. I was able to get the seller to text me (his number is (617) 283-1671 and he is located in Massachusetts) seller handle is Tom Grinfield, but caller id comes up as Gary Thompson. He wants a non-refundable deposit to see the pets. He also could not answer any questions that a person who actually lives locally SHOULD know. Scam. Be aware. I also googled his name followed by "scam" and found lots of posts about him.
Update 1/20/26: Petzlover, since you replied to me, and since I notified you of them scam, will you refund my money ($7 USD) that I paid to contact the seller? Please advise. Do you stand behind your site or are you a part of the scam too?

Tried to get into website but trouble with pw. I'm a young 80+ yrs old and wish to purchase a b/w female shih tzu I saw on the website. We are in Atlanta. I have further questions. I do use FB or if there is a phone # to call. Have been scammed on FB and lost money. This website seems legit. Would appreciate a reply.

Petzlover Irresponsible Pet Site
My husband and I were scammed out of $400 by a “seller” on Petzlover in 9/25. We both made in depth reports to Petzlover.com. They did act concerned, never heard any follow up. It is 3.5 months later. The seller is still posted on their site. That is bad business to me. Buyers please do research into sellers, I was just so heartbroken, I just wanted a puppy to replace my lost one. I wasn’t thinking logically.I didn’t think anyone would do this. This bad experience could have been avoided if Petzlover really vetted these people or at least followed up on complaints. I even came with receipts.

Petzlover is by far the best platform for both buyers and breeders. They put in a lot of effort to protect genuine users from scammers, which makes the whole experience safe and trustworthy. The payment options are simple and convenient, and the platform also provides great promotional offers for ads. Thanks to these. I was able to sell all five of my kittens quickly and without any handles.
