Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here with freinds. Good value,generous portions ,very tasty especially the gravy. The staff were very freindly and service was excellent. Will definitely be recommending the restaurant to people and making a return visit.

We have been to quite a few different places for a Sunday lunch, but we can honestly say that Peterston Lakes is by far our New Favourite 😍.
The quality of the food is superb, fresh and always plentiful and tasty.
The staff were all very friendly/polite and checking to make sure everything was fine.
We have just left today (16/08/26) very full and satisfied, infact we have already booked for another Sunday lunch it was that good.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my daughter, mother & mother-in-law. The service was great and given by a very attentive, happy & polite Lily, nothing was too much trouble, we had extra hot water to top up our coffee or tea, and she even warmed up our scones. The food was plentyful and delicious which consisted of four differently filled finger sandwiches each, with the added savoury selection a welcome addition included, as well as cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas and cress to decorate. Then the cake selection of six was just devine and again with the added little touch of grapes & strawberries. We sat in a delightful room over looking the green, trees & flowers via a large picture window, watching golfers enjoying a round, just glorious. Would highly recommend lovely venue, fabulous tea and great staff

We recently celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday at Peterson Lakes, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Sue and her team.
From the very first enquiry through to the event itself and the follow-up afterwards, everything was handled professionally and seamlessly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was managed with care and efficiency, allowing us to relax and enjoy the occasion.
The food was delicious, and every member of the team contributed to making the evening a success. The event coordinators, bar staff, and security personnel were all polite, friendly, helpful, and always willing to accommodate any request. Their commitment to customer service and attention to detail truly went above and beyond.
Sue and her team worked tirelessly to ensure the celebration was special, and thanks to their efforts, everyone had a fantastic evening. We genuinely could not have asked for more.
If you are looking for a venue for a special occasion, I would highly recommend Peterson Lakes. The team delivers a first-class service and creates memorable events with professionalism and warmth.

I had a surprise 80th birthday afternoon tea party here and the event was top class!
The venue was beautiful with lovely views
The staff were so attentive and polite nothing was too much trouble
The afternoon tea was exceptional and so much boxes were provided for guests to take home what was not eaten

A beautiful Sunday lunch in pleasant surroundings. Staff are always very welcoming and efficient.
Food is piping hot and good size portions. Have eaten here several times and not been dissatisfied.

Excellent staff who always give you a warm and friendly welcome. They always try to accommodate you if you have special dietary requirements. The Sunday lunches are superb !

First time I visited this venue for Sunday lunch. Warm greeting from the young lady who checked us in. Our visit was a gift from a friend. The food, all three courses was excellent and very tasty. My wife had the seafood cocktail to start whilst I had the soup, we both had lamb as our main course and both finished up with Eton Mess. Staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy and there were no waits for each course. Would certainly go there again.

We come here once a month for a family meal and every time we come it’s absolutely fabulous. Food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Staff are great. Five star service every time!

Absolutely outstanding Easter Sunday lunch – a true 5⭐ experience from start to finish!
We kicked things off with the ham hock and Brie bites, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously rich and gooey inside – an amazing combination that set the tone for the meal.
For the main course, the beef and lamb roast dinners were cooked to perfection. The meats were tender and full of flavour, accompanied by beautifully fresh vegetables and the most indulgent cauliflower cheese. Every element on the plate was spot on and clearly made with care.
Dessert was just as impressive – the Eton mess was light, fresh, and bursting with flavour, while the fruit crumble with custard was pure comfort food, warm and perfectly balanced.
And to top it all off, even the coffee was exceptional – a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special Sunday treat. We’ll definitely be back!

What a Sunday roast, best I’ve had in a very long time, portions were perfect and no issues if you wanted any more they are happy to provide, 3 course for £30 you won’t get better value for money anywhere, lovely room and big tables too will be back regularly that’s for sure

The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was truly exceptional!

If you’re looking for a stress-free venue for your next party or event, this is definitely the place to be. With ample parking and excellent facilities, it ticks all the boxes!

Highly recommended—will certainly be suggesting it to friends and family! 💙
