I must admit biometrics is very secure not even oneself can make a payment on this system .
Thousands of complaints but NatWest still asks you to keep trying
Embarrassing when you need to make a transfer for a service that you had and cannot pay for it as it fails.
Rubbish it NatWest .

Tried Biometrics twice now on my iPhone 12 and failed to get it to work. I am over 50 and wear glasses. I need to wear glasses to see the constantly flashing messages on the biometrics screen telling me to move closer, move further away, picture quality problems or blink! It doesn't work with or without them as, along with much of the country, I have slightly hooded eyes. This needs to be fixed or I am forced to switch to a rival after over 40 years as a customer - I can't now operate without the ability to pay people online. Sadly, I can see the other reviewers are having the same issues.

Total rubbish I've spent so much time trying to login with face recognition I nearly put my phone in the bin. Thinking they need to sort this now and stop saying it works fine clearly it does not.

Biometric approval does not work. To remove biometric approval you need to use it. What a farce.
I just keep going round in circles.

Biometric face recognition is awful on this app...... Just spent 10 mins blinking at my phone to approve a change of address, then another 5 mins to remove the biometric. Sort it out Natwest or remove this frustrating feature please.

The biometric camera is useless. I might as well take a photo with my Agfa camera, go to the chemist and wait a week to get the film developed. It would still be quicker. Absolutely useless if you wanna send over a £1000 to someone

Trying to transfer money overseas is a nightmare. You must use Facial recognition, which does not work. Used currency direct instead, much simpler and a better rate. Been with Natwest for years, but not for much longer unless they fix the app.

Face recognition software works maybe one time out of 10!
Surely enough people have an issue with this for NatWest to do something about it?

Terrible bank having to approve card actions.
Costing me time and money.
No customer service or help on line to stop this.
Trying to work buying materials is hard work

New app is appalling still can not get on it nearly 2 weeks now I after go in to the bank to try sort it out the old app was brilliant not a happy customer probably change Banks

This has to be one of the worst apps ever.To delete it has to work, Some bright spark of a delvoper must have thought this a good security measure. Nat west do not want to know and continually send Set Up instructions.I've spent weeks trying to get it to work. I think it's time to say Good BYE.

Blink face recognition from NatWest is a joke.

When ringing to make a complaint. It says have your claim reference and 4 digit pin which you will find on all letters relating to the claim.
I have had many letters that do not have a 4 digit pin.

Im sorry I cannot have confidence when they give incorrect information.

Natwest biometric Confirmation ID is crap. If NatWest can’t fix it then get rid of it.

Every time you want to buy something online you have to approve it in the app,by the time you do this usually something as gone wrong or you can't get back into the site you were on. Had enough now so changing banks.

Biometric approval is a joke. It just isn't efficient. Regularly doesn't recognise my face. Just spent forever trying to approve a transaction and I've given up now. Tried to remove the function and - had to give biomentric approval in order to remove biometric approval!! Pure Catch 22.

Tried removing the app and re-installing but that didn't work so I've given up now and had to ring them and spend ages on the phone getting them to remove it from their end. Because its a Saturday, it won't actually get removed till Tuesday but at least it will go. At least the people I spoke to at their end were polite and helpful.

Natwest need to do something to make their biometric approval process a great deal more efficient.

TBH never really had an issue. Been with them since I was 11 and always been helpful and reliablie to me. Never had any issues with them and when I did it was sorted out quickly.

I am trying to sort out a credit card issue. I have telephoned customer services, but no action has been taken. Yesterday, I went to a NatWest branch and they gave me a complaints leaflet. I toLd them my problem was concerning a credit card, but I find when I go online, there is no option to choose credit card complaint. I am not ringing again as I am not waiting over 30 mins for an answer. I need a complaints form for credit card issues.

Utterly useless. Can’t make any payment now. System keeps refusing to accept me and sends me back to the blinking start every time. Can’t even delete the biometric change, because I have to blink!,!
