Ich werde den Rechtsweg eingehen und dagegen klagen.

Their API's don't work for us. We got one short response from support over a week ago and then nothing.

I subscribed to YouCam Plus specifically to restore, enhance, and colourise old family photos. What I received was far more restricted than advertised, with core AI features locked behind an additional Pro upgrade, even after paying for Plus.

After only one or two uses, I was repeatedly blocked and prompted to upgrade again. This was not clearly disclosed before purchase and made the Plus plan effectively unusable for its intended purpose.

Customer support has been equally disappointing. I was incorrectly told my purchase was through Google Play (it was not), and after explaining this multiple times and requesting a refund due to misleading functionality, I received either templated responses or no response at all.

For comparison, I used Remini, which delivered significantly better results, clearer pricing, fewer restrictions, and far superior photo restoration quality. Remini did in minutes what YouCam failed to do after multiple paywalls.

I would not recommend YouCam Plus. The pricing structure feels misleading, and customer support does not resolve legitimate issues. There are better, more transparent alternatives available.

Don’t download it, they will push you you to buy a pro version and won’t refund your money

This company is a total scam. I placed an order and, after 5 minutes, realized that the product was not as advertised. I contacted the company for a refund - no reply until after several emails. I was referred to another site where I again explained my problem. They referred me back to Perfect Corp (it should be NONPERFECT CORP!). I wasted my money, but hopefully my review, along with the other folks who have been ripped off, will stop new prospective purchasers.

I downloaded YouCam Makeup after seeing it advertised as a free trial, but I was charged immediately without any clear warning or confirmation. This is an absolutely misleading and deceptive consumer practice.

Apple refused to process a refund, claiming it’s up to the developer, yet the developer (Perfect Corp.) never responds to support requests. The lack of transparency and accountability is alarming.

Users deserve honesty and consent before being charged — not hidden auto-renewal traps disguised as free trials. Please be careful and avoid this app.
I strongly urge Perfect Corp. to stop misleading consumers and comply with basic ethical standards.

YouCam editing is a scam! Advertising claims it will help with photo editing but asking it to do the simplest edits turns your photo into a joke - literally the people were turned into animal characters! Contacted multiples times for assistance with no response, asked for refund, nothing. This company is scamming people.

Beware of YouCam Scam!!! 'Free' trial gets charged, no reaction customer service. They charged me €89,99 while I canceled the subscription before the trial ended.

I bought coins on youcam online that I can no longer use. The company has unilaterally changed the terms and conditions and now wants you to take out a subscription! There is no support. Hands off!

Signed up for free trial, disliked app and deleted within 10 minutes. I was charged for premium membership that same day. Now I cannot contact customer support to get a refund. Multiple attempts to get refund have failed and have received no response from company.

Ho provato l'opzione per cambiare colore ai capelli ma il risultato è pessimo. Praticamente l'AI non rileva tutti i capelli e così alcune ciocche rimangono del colore originale. Tra l'altro ci sono pure altre recensioni pessime, che segnalano cose ancora più gravi (pare truffino i clienti).

I downloaded the YouCam app and explored its features, only to realize it did not meet my needs, so I deleted it. I did not sign up for any trial or subscription. Despite this, I discovered a charge of $31.99 USD from the App Store for YouCam. I submitted a 'report a problem' request with Apple, but they declined my refund request, despite the circumstances I described. I understand this may not be directly your issue, but I believe it is significant.

Interestingly, I have only encountered such issues with foreign apps. For US-based apps, refunds are processed promptly. However, with foreign apps, refunds are routinely denied. In a previous incident, the App Store refused my refund request for a foreign app until I involved the app's country of origin by filing a complaint with their government. Following that action, Apple refunded me immediately.

It appears both Apple and PerfectCorp are aware that US consumers have limited options for recourse. The idea of traveling to Taiwan to address this with Alice Chang, the CEO, is unrealistic for most people. This situation allows both Apple and YouCam to profit substantially, potentially in the billions, with full awareness of these issues.

There are numerous complaints in the App Store from other users describing similar experiences with YouCam. I am deeply frustrated and disheartened by this practice. While I am unsure what actions can be taken, it seems that YouCam is profiting unfairly from consumers via the App Store.

The company charges Abbo, the photo enhancer is very bad, a refund is refused, all customer emails are mailer.daemons,verifone payment B.V. just as criminal, refuses to pay back. Both criminal companies sent my data to the rogue state USA without my consent. Paypal case has been opened !! perfectkorp.com is insolvent. Hands off !!
