Travel Counsellors - Becoming a Franchisee Omdömen 

As someone who has entered with no knowledge of the travel industry, the support and training is excellent. Having a mentor to help you through the early stages, 6 months of building your business, would be worth the franchise fee alone. Having access to marketing advice and documents is invaluable, as well as all other requirements of building and managing a business, it is second to none.

The onboarding training at Travel Counsellors is second to none. The training programme was an intensive two weeks covering key elements of the TC support, suppliers, booking system, duty of care, marketing and the TC way! We were fully supported all the way by our wonderful trainer Kerry and also Dawn and the full ‘onboarding’ team. I also had a wonderful group of fellow new trainees that I will have as a support network throughout my TC journey as I move on developing my business. Travel Counsellors training is the finest in the business.

Wanted to write about my experience joining TC's. I've been in the industry a while and met in the past fellow TC's who have raved about the franchise and how much they love it.
So after an initial informal chat a few months ago, to finishing my induction today, I feel like I have joined a great big family. The support is phenomenal and I never felt apprehensive with the reassurance given, they've made made me feel at ease all the way through the process. From day one you are assigned a mentor who is there for you when you need them, daily, weekly or what ever you need. Kim has been brilliant for me, assuring me and supporting consistently. I'm so excited to start my new journey and confident that the support is every step of the way. Thank you to the learning and develop team, you know who you are.

Life changing!
The support provided from the very start has been incredible. Ashley from recruitment is fantastic, she's made me feel so welcome into the TC community. I'm blown away by the high standard of training through the academy. I've finished the course feeling confident on the booking platforms and ready to undertake a further six months of on-board training. Head office, the training team (Kerry Williams), my mentor (Elliott Rouse) and local TC's do the upmost to make you feel welcome - there is always someone to reach out to. I've never felt so happy in my career!

Since my initial conversation with Ashley at Travel Counsellors, I have felt consistently welcomed and supported throughout my two week training program led by Dawn. From my first call with Travel Counsellors right through to now, every interaction has been everything I had hoped for and more. Easy, helpful, informative, knowledgeable, friendly, and absolutely delivering on the brand values and culture that I was told they lived by. Julia, my franchise partner, was just incredible. In addition to being friendly, approachable and a lovely person, she answered all my questions, made sure I was completely comfortable with my decision, and made sure I had all the information required so I was 110% onboard.

They don't just leave you to it either. Julia has been in touch a few times since I joined to check in, and I love that. They care. The training was second to none. Learning about travel is a lot for someone who is new to travel, but the training team, for us led by Kerry, alongside Josie, Dawn and Matt, all delivered the programme in a way that was digestible, at your own pace, lots of time to have 121 as well as the group sessions, and support by the best training platform I have used. It doesn’t end there either, for an academy newbie, we continue to train for the next 6 months, have a personal mentor and business development team too. Absolutely world class.

I just cannot say enough great things about my experience and think that if anyone is considering it, I would say do it. You won’t look back. You will have every bit of support you need, and never be on your own.

Ben and Josie made the induction process fun and interesting. There was a lot to take in but everything was explained well and they were very patient if we didn't understand. They have since answered a lot of questions and helped with any teething issues too!
The Phenix system is a complete marvel that saves so much time and is easy to navigate once you get the hang of it.
Everyone has been very welcoming and supportive and I'm really looking forward to further developing my business with Travel Counsellors.

I have experience of working in travel and I decided to start a franchise with Travel Counsellors as I’ve heard amazing things about them and I have wanted to join for quite a few years but it wasn’t the right time. Anyway, I started on the 2nd October for my 2 week induction and I have been completely blown away by how amazing they are. The training is outstanding and the whole company has a community feel and you feel like are part of the community as soon as you start. Everything is just so well organised and runs smoothly. Brilliant company, recruiting stage on buying franchise very informative and welcoming. Training amazing, staff friendly and always there for you if struggling with something. My mentor after first 2 weeks training been amazing too.

Everybody has been so welcoming and helpful. The head office is modern and professional. I particularly enjoyed the refreshments area. I was always kept updated at each stage of the process and I already feel like part of the family after only 5 days!
