The tote bag has become useful for everyday things. It is roomy enough without looking bulky or too plain.

First time ordering and it went better than expected. The site was easy to move through and the anniversary sale was clear. My dress came safely and looked like something I can wear more than once. I would call it a good first order.

This feels like a softer more graceful kind of boutique. The clothes are not overly trendy and that is what I liked. My order matched the style shown on the site. It felt very true to the photos.

DO NOT BUY!! SCAM!!!

Ordered a dress I thought it was coming from North Carolina. To my surprise, it had to be cleared in customs. Took forever to get here and was the worst dress; poorly made, cheap material and quality was horendous was and I would have to pay as much in customs fees as I paid for the dress to return it, and might not even see the refund. So disappointing and disheartening.

I ordered a simple elegant dress and it surprised me. The style is clean, the fit is flattering and it can be dressed up easily. It is one of those useful pieces that does not need much effort. I am happy with it.

The handbag I ordered works for both day and evening. It has a simple shape but still feels elegant. I like that it does not look too casual. Very happy I added it to my cart.

I liked the variety more than I expected. There were dresses for events, softer casual pieces, bags and loafers. It felt like the whole shop had the same elegant mood. That made shopping simple.

The blue slingback loafers are a little different from my usual shoes but in a good way. I wore them with white trousers and they looked so fresh. They are stylish without being too bold. I received a compliment the first day!

DO NOT BUY!! Received 2 dresses, and the material was too thin and not as advertised. Had to pay $54 to return to China. 3 months later, it's still supposedly stuck in China's customs, and the company won't refund me. Luckily, I paid through PayPal, which immediately issued a refund, but I'm still out the $54. The company responds with emails, but they are mostly canned, apologetic ones.

This company is a scam! My item arrived with a zipper malfunction and it was really cheap material too. I emailed them to ask for a return label but they kept deleting for 3 WEEKS and over a dozen back and forth emails. Finally they said they are sending a new item but that is NOT what I asked for. I asked to return the item for a refund. They never responded back and I never received a replacement either. DO NOT buy from here.

Absolutely horrible!!!!!! The dresses I ordered look nothing like the pictures and are the worst/cheapest quality. Can’t get a response from them of how to return. Very disappointing

Ordered a dress from this company. Website is very misleading as it seems like it’s coming from the US. Took weeks to arrive, and the quality is absolutely horrible. The top of the dress is literally see-through. Looks nothing like the picture. In order to return, I have to ship it back overseas, which will cost about $30. If you want something from China, just shop from SHEIN. Skip this place.

I was disappointed with my experience ordering from Pearl Veil. The website gave the impression that the company was a small boutique based in North Carolina, but when I needed to make a return, I discovered the item had to be shipped back to China at my own expense.

The quality of the clothing did not match the photos or expectations from the website, and international return shipping costs are extremely high — around $20–$35 for a single item. I wish this information had been made more transparent before purchasing.

Customer service did respond, but buyers should be aware that returns are international and can become costly very quickly. I would encourage shoppers to carefully read the return policy before ordering.

WOULD NOT PURCHASE AGAIN!!! This place advertises as a small family run boutique in NC with high quality items. In my opinion, the items were the furthest thing from high-quality that you can find as they are paper thin (and basically see-through) as well as sized incorrectly based upon their website and my personal experience. They also advertise a money-back 30 day guarantee, but they make it extremely difficult to return the items. I have now exchanged 10 emails with them, most of which were them trying to convince me to take a discount on future items instead, without giving me return instructions/address. They finally gave return instructions with a 3 DAY WINDOW for returning the items, and quote about $30 for shipping. However, they require the items to be shipped back to CHINA with a tracking number and using USPS (one of the cheapest shipping options in the US) it was over $75. I would NEVER purchase anything from them again.

I ordered a dress and when it arrived it was poor quality and the fit was terrible. I submitted a request for a refund and they make it very difficult with several emails stating they will issue a coupon for another dress. I am still trying to get the information for a refund. They also state the cost to return is on the customer and it goes to an overseas address. If the item is lost, we do not get our money back. They have a facility in the states but make it very difficult to get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Do not buy from this boutique!!!! They are NOT from NC! I purchased a dress and the top doesn't fit properly and the material feels and looks very cheap! I reached out to return the dress and I have to pay half of what the dress costs to ship it back internationally. Do not waste your money or time. A total SCAM!

Awful! I just received a dress that looked vibrant and good quality on the website. It came and it was the complete opposite. I have asked for a refund, and they have currently told me it is my responsibility to pay for sending it back which is half the cost of the dress! It is defected due to the quality and lack of latch on the zip. I feel like I have been scammed.
