I made an initial payment of about âŹ0.95 to edit a PDF, without it being clearly stated that this would activate a subscription. After some time, I was charged âŹ30 for a monthly plan, without any prior email notification and without having used the service again.
After contacting support, they confirmed in writing that I would receive a refund, asking me only to wait until the PayPal dispute was closed. However, once the case was closed, they changed their position and refused to issue the refund.
This is not transparent and not fair towards customers. I strongly advise being very careful before entering your payment details on this site.
I have already been in contact with your support team and provided all the required information.
As clearly shown in our email exchange, I was explicitly asked to close the PayPal dispute with the assurance that a refund would be issued afterwards. I followed your instructions, but after the dispute was closed, you refused to proceed with the refund.
Therefore, this is not a matter of reviewing my account, but of honoring the commitment your team already made in writing.
I have already escalated this case to the relevant consumer protection authorities.
I remain available to resolve this matter amicably if you proceed with the refund.

I signed up to a 1.99 euro offer, but that automatically transferred me to a monthly subscription of 39 euro per month - every month! The brilliant person on the other end resolved my problem immediately and cancelled the subscription.

AVOIOD POTENTIAL SCAM Pdfhome.com falsely advertised a free pdf conversion which it said would be available after 3 hours but it was not.
Its subscription wording shows a low price in bold ÂŁ0.95 and then in small print its states you will automatically be enrolled after 7 days and pay ÂŁ39 every 4 weeks. That is sharp practice and others have reported its as a scam when they are charged ÂŁ39 7days later on a rolling subscription.

I bought a WR code for my map location for 95 cents only to find that they had imbedded a recurring payment of 29 euros per month. Was able to halt further payments and cancel through my bank and after some online contact recover my 29 euros. Buyer beware if hefty hidden charges.

Very unfortunate and frustrating
Very unfortunate and frustrating. Like everyone else I signed up to download my file, but since it was behind a pay wall I decided to ignore it, only for it to take GBP 39 for 2 months without my notice... no confirmation email, no billing email, no verification email, nothing. I only noticed because I have subscribed to three other services and by April (today) I found my credit card drained and their payments declined.... this is a GBP payment taken from LKR currency.... like why would I subscribe to such a huge conversion rate monthly??? And they refuse to refund me, I havent even used their services..so unethical...
