My time with PCC Wealth has been a genuinely rewarding experience. Although I’ve chosen to step away from the role to pursue a different direction, I look back with appreciation for everything I learned and the people I met along the way.

I personally gained a lot of insight, both professionally and personally, during my time there. I have left with valuable skills and I remain grateful for the support I received and the connections I made.

I am living in German and have been a client of PCC wealth for some years now. I moved to PCC as Kevin Birtles offered me this possibility. Indeed with the previous Consultant firm I had the mis-fortune to change the contact person many times.

He has supported my investments with overall positive results through these times. I have been with a managing partner of this company as the financial adviser for several years now (since 2015), even before he started this consultancy company. Contrary to previous advisers from the company in which he previously worked (Devere), he has always been honest and has managed in this years to recover from the losses incurred by trusting the advice of allegedly safe investments made by previous advisers.

We initially made contact with Kevin Birtles with regards to some advise with a pension based in the UK. However after recent parental bereavement and the daunting thought of being over taxed/double taxed/not fully understanding the system and in truth really struggling to juggle everything we really needed help in many different areas. Kevin offered his proffesional advise and was A1A from our very first communication.
Being based around 6 hours away from his office we initially had regular Zoom meetings, phone calls and email correspondance. Once we had various things in place Kevin and his very competent assistant Rachel Curran actually made the long journey to visit us in person, in our own home! Very professional but with a lovely personal touch we chatted through all the necessary and after they left we both felt very much at ease and very confident that we had chosen the right people to manage our finances. Both Rachel and Kevin have their clients best interests at heart and make regular contact with us all the while keeping a close eye on our investments. Unfortunately I am updating my review. I entrusted my money with Private Client Consultancy (PCC) from 2022 to 2024. As an expat living abroad, I wanted to start building a pension to secure my future. At the time, I was 27 and more trusting than I am now.

I initially committed to a €300 monthly premium, investing a total of €5,700 by the end of 2023. PCC advised me to invest in ATOM, but after two years, I received an email informing me that ATOM was ceasing trading. They then informed me that my funds would be moved to Providence Life Limited.

Concerned about this, I checked Providence Life Limited’s reviews on Trustpilot and found multiple similar experiences—lack of transparency, high fees, and poor fund performance. Seeing these red flags, I decided to terminate my investment rather than risk further losses, even though I knew I would take a financial hit.

During my investment period, I also had to pause contributions for a year, yet PCC continued charging a 1.5% management fee, along with other hidden costs that were never clearly explained. Even though I wasn’t contributing, fees were still deducted, and I never received a transparent cost breakdown.

When I finally decided to exit, despite having contributed €5,800, I only received €2,200 back after cancellation fees and other deductions. Losing more than half of my investment just to hidden fees and penalties was extremely disappointing.

PCC might be suitable for those who can afford long-term commitments without financial constraints, but for anyone needing flexibility or clarity in financial planning, I strongly advise caution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend PCC—their lack of transparency and excessive charges made this a regrettable investment decision for me.

They called me soon after I left my details in their Facebook page. They were really efficient, helpful and professional. Although my case was unsuccessful, I will recommend them to my family and friends. I was fully informed at all times. They made the whole process easy and made me feel very comfortable.
