I travelled especially to this Pavers…

I travelled especially to this Pavers concession and I was not disappointed! So much choice in every size. I needed something special for a wedding and another pair too because why travel so far and only choose one pair of shoes? Very happy with my choices, very comfortable and stylish footwear. And the price is good too.

I can only presume the positive reviews…

I can only presume the positive reviews are from those who didn't have cause to contact customer services. I returned a shoe that was way to wide a d was advised I'd have to wait 2 weeks. I chased this and was given generic responses but was eventually given the refund minus post and packaging. I advised the advisor that consumer rights protect the public from this, the advisor again told me I would pay the post and packaging so I am told I am expected to pay £6 for an order I have returned in total... Can someone please explain how that sounds reasonable? This goes against my consumer rights to receive and return an order and I will take this further if needs be. Shame on you for this 'service'.
Your response really does speak volumes and your lack of consumer rights knowledge is disgraceful. I will be pursuing this.
FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY CUSTOMERS - please be advised these shoes are not a "standard" fit but wide, very wide and not actually as listed.* I have just seen a previous review where someone else has stated they were wide and yet they are still advertised as standard.

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.

To clarify the charges, the original delivery charge for your order was £3.99. At the time of placing your order, you were also given the option to purchase Returns Paid for £1.49 per item, which would have covered the cost of your return.

As this option was not selected and you used our returns label, a £2.50 return postage charge was applied. This means the total amount relating to postage is £6.49 (£3.99 original delivery plus £2.50 return postage).

We appreciate that this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but these charges are applied in line with our returns policy.
