Excellent driving instructors , best about with the best crack not get much better than Pattersons.

I passed my test with Gav and he was amazing. He is extremely calm, took his time explaining all the steps and didn’t mind if I bumped a curb or two. I would 100% recommend him and pattersons to a friend!

I would highly recommend Gav as an instructor he made me feel at ease straight away, he is patient, and easy to get along with. I looked forward to every lesson I had with him and couldn’t thank him enough for teaching me how to drive😊

Fab driving school. I took my lessons with karl, he was brilliant I was so nervous at first, karl made me feel at ease to the point I looked forward to my lessons. After a terrible experience with my first driving instructor, I booked lessons with Karl from Patterson’s Driving School and never looked back. Top driving instructor made me feel comfortable and at ease and made me feel confident in my driving ability which helped me pass 1st time. Also when I started my new Job Karl was very flexible and worked around the hours I worked to make sure I had a lesson. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough Thank you Karl.

Karl was my driving instructor from Pattersons driving school, he was a really good instructor and made me feel so at ease when learning! He got me through my test first time couldnt of picked a better instructor

Really helpful learning new tricks and new ways on how to leave lights without using the hand break super friendly when i wasn’t confident or when was feeling pressured of not getting out of a roundabout in time

I learnt with Gav at Patterson driving school at the beginning of this year. After years of learning on and off beacuse of being nervous and scared of driving, Gav made me feel at such ease and had confidence in me from day one. Gav was always positive I was able to pass my test and doing so I managed to pass first time! I cannot thank Gav enough for his time and commitment to believing in me and helping me finally pass my test!

Learning how to drive for me was difficult and frustrating, however, my driving experience was always turned around to a positive with Gav as he gave me positive but effective advice on how achieve a new skill each lesson. Doing this really increased my confidence and helped in the long run to gather a lot of skills and knowledge needed to be able to drive. He was extremely patient, reassuring and supportive which definitely helped in situations where I felt nervous and stressed. Overall my experience with Pattersons driving school was very positive and thank Gav again for teaching me how to drive!

I used Patterson’s Driving School from November 2024 to May 2025 with Gav as my instructor. Gav was on time every week, he was thorough and consistent with his positive attitude towards my driving and I never left a lesson having not learned anything. No question seemed stupid and Gav was willing to explain things to me as many times as it took for me to get it. We had a lot of laughs along the way and this also contributed to me feeling comfortable and at ease throughout my lessons. I would, and continue to, recommend Gav and Patterson’s Driving School to anyone looking to start their driving lessons. Thanks Gav ☺️
