I received a penalty after using a hotel car park. There was no signage that reflected the Code of Practice and the penalty notice was 35 days after the parking date, it should be within 14 days.
My objection resulted in the penalty being withdrawn in less than 24 hours.
It is more like dealing with scammers than a legitimate trustworthy company.

I’ve had a very poor experience with ParkMaven. I received multiple parking fines even though I had fully paid for my sessions through the RingGo app. I provided clear evidence of the payments, including timestamps and receipts, yet the fines were still upheld. It’s extremely frustrating to be penalised despite following the rules and proving it. This has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time, and it raises serious concerns about how their system handles valid payments.

Scam company that seems to be operating with impunity .
Wife went into holiday inn in Folkestone to charge her car paid for parking using the QR code provided and then used holiday inn coffee shop whilst waiting she received a £60 fine saying she hadn’t paid , she appealed the fine to be told appeal was refused! She now contacted holiday inn and they’ve said they will get the fine squashed but reading the reviews on trust pilot I’m not holding my breath!.

Holiday inn really needs to look into this company and reconsider their contract with them, it’s a bad reflection on the hotel.

I have received a court summons despite paying for parking and have received nothing until today when the court summons arrived for £290. I am extremely diligent regarding buying tickets to avoid any fines. I am not in a position to pay nearly £300 I'm worried sick and being threatened with a ccj which will affect my job my family my life. I can't cope with this I feel I can't take anymore

Symonds Yat Car Park 14th February 2026 - no internet access on mobile/app that day and the machine equally was not connecting. I tried multiple times to pay (even held onto receipt as evidence) but I received a PCN. I have contested it but I know there were a number of people all with the same issue that day in the car park. So if you see this then you are within your rights to contest as there was NO MEANS TO MAKE PAYMENT.

Absolutely awful people, piled up 3 fines for me and sent them all at once up to 3 weeks after the incidents. Scamming, money thirsty, thieving people.

Just another scam in life being fined £60 for what was an 80p parking session!

This company is a scam, I used the Arcadian car park in Birmingham and paid the amount due and now parkmaven are trying to make me pay £170 and are saying I never paid for the car park, absolute joke, avoid there car parks at all costs unless you want to get ripped off

Got a penalty for nothing. We have paid a parking ticket in Ilford mall and we received a penalty for nothing. The machines where not working that day , everyone was having issues that day . Apparently there was a outrage that day but that wasn't our problem. And we have the prove that we paid , we did 2 appeals and nobody has been seeing that.
Very clever way of stealing money .

Can only echo most of the other comments on here. Paid at the Holiday Inn, Bristol and subsequently received a 'fine' Was able to send screenshots for proof of payment and my appeal was 'accepted' Fine was issued due to a 'technical error'! There is no doubt that this company is being run at best unethically and the blame lies with Holiday Inn, who allow this practice to continue. The business relationship between the two companies appears to be questionable to say the least.

They are full of shit - you can speak to anyone and on the paperwork it says use the Parking Charge Reference lol it is not even on the paperwork. They are robbing full of shit company that needs to be investigated

I parked in a car park I hadn’t used before. In a disabled space with my blue badge. But apparently blue badge holders have to pay. My fault, I didn’t read the small print. This happened on the 20th Jan. on the 5th Feb I received the fine, reduced to £60 if I paid by the 3rd Feb ! Was this a deliberate scam to get me to pay the £100 fine ? I have emailed them 3 times stating I will pay the £60 but no reply from them. Telephone is just an automated instruction on how to pay the £100. This turns out to be an expensive trip to a new hairdressers.

Extra fines more income for parkmaven. I will make sure I never use one of their car parks again. Other companies will lose income

Charged my 77 year old disabled wife £60 for overstaying for 23 min 38 secs. Would nt recommend parking at any Parkhaven carpark.

My experience with ParkMaven was frustrating. I was an authorised visitor at Regus, followed all instructions, yet they still issued a parking charge and refused my appeal, demanding £20 to cover the administrative costs of issuing the ticket. I have now appealed with POPLA. That parking company shouldn’t exist!

These people are total thieves, fleecing members of the public in a brazen way. I unfortunately had to encounter them when I attended courses at the Holiday Inn in Impington. They extorted money that was not due to them, through 'fines'. I have complained to Holiday Inn, and am hoping they stop using this company. I won't be using Holiday Inn while they have these guys on the forecourt.

I appealed a parking fine and instead of investigating, ParkMaven went into debt collection mode thus not allowing me to follow up with my appeal. Luckily, my parking was at a hotel and they got the fine removed. I would not trust ParkMaven to be honest. They appear not to be customer focused and more profit focused. 1 star for the review is more than they deserve.

This company is pure scum, they wrongfully issue a parking fine, sent said fine to the wrong address, ignored my appeal when I finally got the parking fine letters, ignored every attempt to reach out. As a result of them ignoring me they escalated to dcbl, another company comprised of scum who are not interested if parkmaven have effectively lied and wrongfully issued a parking fine, and just try and bully and intimate tou until you pay.

You are all thieves and will do what ever you can to steal money from people, i hope you rot.
