Subscription waste of money
Paid for a subscription, I used it once then was told my login details were not correct. I was sent a password generator which was nonsensical, the link just took me to a number and return home button. I am not able to access my account. The site is not user friendly. It is incredibly frustrating not being able to reset my password. Please get me back in or refund my money!

Park4Night ist an für sich nicht schlecht.
Aber viele Plätze sind gar nicht geeignet für Camper. Mein Van ist 6 Meter lang.
Auch werden keine Höhenangaben angegeben durch die App. Sehr viele Egoisten sind auch auf den Plätzen.
Die einfach die Vorschriften nicht einhalten und Camperverhalten aufweisen. Stühle und Tischersus stellen. Wäre Wünschenswert solche melden zu können durch Kennzeichen. Und bei mehreren verstößen durch das Kennzeichen einfach von der App auszuschließen.
Auch sind vor allen Camper auffällig die Teilweise 3 und 4 Plätze durch Querparken einnehmen. Wer überlange Camper Besitzt und nicht nach vorschrift parken kann. Der soll dann halt auf Campingplätze ausweichen. Den das ist sehr Egoistisches verhalten.
Ist unzureichend die Aussage. Hatte ich gemacht. Und es wird zu wenig nachgeforscht. Werde mein Abo nicht verlängern.

Hallo Michael, es besteht die Möglichkeit, Orte nach Höhenbeschränkung zu filtern. Tippen Sie hierzu auf der Karte in der oberen rechten Ecke auf das Filter-Symbol > Gehen Sie dann zum Menüpunkt "Maximale Höhe meines Fahrzeuges" > Tippen Sie in das Feld und wählen Sie aus der nun erschienenen Liste die gewünschte Höhe aus > Bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl, indem Sie auf [Filter anwenden] tippen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Höhenbegrenzungsfilter für den Ort selbst gilt, nicht für die Reiseroute. Wenn Sie beispielsweise eine Höhenbegrenzung von 2,5 m wählen, werden Ihnen alle Orte mit Höhenbarrieren von mehr als 2,5 m angezeigt, aber dies wird nicht während der Reiseroute beachtet (da die Reiseroute nicht von park4night abhängt, sondern von der Navigations-App, die Sie verwenden).
Wenn Sie einen Ort mit Höhenbeschränkung finden, die aber noch nicht bei park4night eingetragen ist, tippen Sie auf den Ort > [Mehr] > [Diesen Ort bearbeiten] > Klicken Sie sich durch die Seiten. Ganz unten auf der letzten Seite können Sie direkt die Höhenbeschränkung eintragen.
Was das Fehlverhalten anderer Nutzer angeht (Stühle und Tische herausstellen, mehrere Parkplätze belegen usw.), löscht unser Moderationsteam alle Inhalte, die gegen die Regeln verstoßen. Die betroffenen Nutzer werden per E-Mail informiert und erhalten eine Erklärung, um eine Wiederholung zu vermeiden.

Hello Hawk, park4night is a participative platform where different categories of places are referenced: campsites, farms, parkings day and night, parkings day only, motorhome areas, etc. If there is one category you're not interested in, you can untick it in the filters (funnel icon at the top of your screen). Censure à gogo
A l'heure actuelle beaucoup de censure au niveau de l'ajout des points de bivouac, l'application est donc de moins en moins participative et de ce fait de moins en moins intéressante.

Bonjour Hervé, notre équipe de modération vérifie effectivement le contenu publié sur la plateforme, dont les lieux. Les règles sont strictes pour éviter que des lieux interdits ou inappropriés soient ajoutés (privé, bloquant l'accès d'une barrière, interdit, etc). Si vous n'êtes pas d'accord avec la décision de modération, n'hésitez pas à répondre directement à l'email de modération afin que nous puissions voir avec vous. Merci et bonne journée

Abo für Garmin
Für mein Abo, extra für Garmin Navi, gibt es seit Mai kein Update mehr.
Von der mobilen App, auch ein Abo, lassen sich die Positionsdaten nicht mehr auf das Garmin 770 übertragen.
Fraglich ob ich die Abos verlängern werde.

Excellent if Used respectfully, read reviews from users before committing to a spot.
I've used for years. And back then it was the only system that was community lead, and offered real world pictures and descriptions of potential spots to camp for the evening. But use responsibly and with caution. Some of the spots are recommended, but maybe grey area legally. DO NOT leave rubbish or waist at any site. It may damage the local ecosystem and ruin the location for future users. I have a van so can leave easily wild. Camping maybe more awkward with equipment. This app has saved me on numerous ocassional. Just treat each spot respectfully and read the reviews carefully to understand what each spot offers etc. The paid version doesn't give you much extra. It used to be free

I've written to them to ask them to remove the location in our neighbourhood but they refuse to do so. They said it's not their responsibility if their users don't behave responsibly - I disagree.

Hello Daniel, please note that the platform is referencing places for the day only and places for day/night use. When overnight stays are disturbing the neighbourhood, we can change the category to "parking day only". If it's a public and asphalted parking, motorhomes can however park during the day, the same way other vehicles would do. Have a nice day

Not always a great experience
Used this app quite a lot in various countries. While it does direct you to the places that accept campers, some of the information can be incorrect.
Also, currently in Spain and the areas are supposedly for campers to use the villages and towns where they staying, thereby assisting the local economy, however, said villages and towns are somewhat deserted, not just at siesta times but all the time! And if you do come across a bar/cafe that is open, that’s does not mean you won’t be turned away. My advice would be go to these places and enjoy them, but don’t expect an effusive welcome from the locals.

Like many others I paid for the app but they won't activate it so I have completely wasted my money. They ask for proof of payment, then ignore the email with proof. It's effectively a scam operation and needs to be stopped.Do not pay.

Viele "Plätze" zum Freistehen sind überhaupt nicht dafür geeignet, oder gar ist es an diesen Orten überhaupt erlaubt, lässt man sie löschen erstellt irgendjemand wieder neue Orte.
Bewertungen, bzw. Kommentare werden nicht überprüft und sich auch nicht kommentier- oder löschbar dadurch gibt es viele Personen die ausschließlich schlechte Kommentare bei Plätzen da lassen, obwohl die schlechte Erfahrung vielleicht auch an den Leuten selbst liegt.

Première utilisation pour l’ouest américain… pas convaincue du tout. Au départ l’appli est plutôt sympa à utiliser.. puis on se rend compte que les commentaires sont anciens donc obsolètes. De nouveaux campings ne sont pas notés… bref, rien n’est à jour, car les gens ne contribuent pas. Dommage mais ce sera le 1er et dernier test pour moi 😅

Leider kann man als Stellplatzbetreiber…
Leider kann man als Stellplatzbetreiber nicht auf Rezessionen/Bewertungen der Stellplatz-Gäste antworten. Dies ist sehr veraltet und nicht mit der Zeit. Gewisse Gäste schreiben ungerechtfertigte Bewertungen, die mann nicht kommentieren kann.
Ich zahle als Betreiber 250.- im Jahr für diese App.

Used to be a really good an app
Used to be a really good an app for vanlife type stuff had a decent community adding realistic places to stop and sleep. Places that weren’t exactly kosher shall we say places that fell into the grey area of nobody said you can’t do park so behave and don’t be a nuisance and chances are you will be fine. Now the app has removed hundreds of places and stops you from adding lots of places that van lifers have been using to get a quiet safe sleep for years not bothering anybody. It’s now difficult to find a decent spot to park overnight on the app because it’s full of places that you can’t stay overnight at, what is the point of suggesting a parking spot that says no overnight parking.
