Gilded castle tour
Wonderful wonderful tour. Olivia is so knowledgeable, and very pleasant while presenting some unknown facts of French history. The Palace is so opulent, it’s no wonder the French aristocracy is so ignorant to the plight of the common people.

Disappointed in lack of infrastructure funding
Just came back from a mid week break there. Maintenance of all the gardens we visited, le jardins, Louvre, Eiffel Tower was non existent. Gardens overgrown, full of weeds and dead flowers. Homeless people everywhere we went, displaying horrific health problems, road repairs everywhere causing gridlock traffic. Took us 50 minutes and 40 euros to get to the Eiffel Tower for a meal booked. Metro is great. Clear lack of funding for infrastructure and cultural maintenance. Spoke to a bar owner who agreed and said support of the elderly is negligent with most of the homeless in this age bracket. One has to question what all the parisiennes hard earned taxes have gone towards. Still worth a visit but extremely expensive and disappointing in some ways.

Go with Olivia for a private tour
Olivia did a great job! We had a bit of a snag and had to use the lifts in the museum. She was still able to navigate and get us to the masterpieces. She is very knowledgeable and we had a great private tour. She answered all our questions and was able to show us all we wanted to see.

A great visit!
Turns out this was private tour for the wife and I. Our guide, Oliver, was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. I have some physical problems and he adapted the tour to them. Paris with guides like Oliver is a great visit for all ages.
