Conducted a structural survey of my roof to check its strength for a solar install. Surveyor seemed competant enough and made sense during discussions on the day.

However the report promised within 2 weeks did not materialise until nearly five weeks later and required me to chase it on several occasions with promises broken.

It was also unclear who exactly I was dealing with - reply emails were aliased with names of different people to those signing the emails, if they got signed at all. Seemed all a bit unnaccountable at best and shady at worst, should be more transparent and they should honor their promises. I would not use them again.

Zoye helped us design our loft extension and secure council approval, and we could be happier with the results. She was thoughtful, inventive, ambitious, and incredibly reliable—plus, an absolute pleasure to work with. I decided to use Paramountbuilt since I had architectural plans drawn up from an online company, making it logical to work with Paramountbuilt for structural engineering. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about using an online structural engineer rather than meeting someone face-to-face, but my concerns were founded. The single-storey side extension is now complete, and the Building Inspector has fully approved all structural work.

During construction, I had to make two significant changes to the architectural plans—adjusting the roof pitch and repositioning a steel beam. This required me to contact Zoye multiple times with emails full of modifications and questions. Zoye handled everything with patience and efficiency, responding quickly so I could relay instructions to the builder and update Building Control without delays.

I would gladly use Paramountbuilt again, though at my age, it be likely. However, I highly recommend them as they offer reasonable pricing, quick responses, and exceptional service with professionalism and patience.

I hired the team to conduct a survey and inspection for a building I was considering purchasing, and I found their professionalism to be exactly as I had heard. During a light chat with my surveyor, he explained every detail about the building’s condition, which helped me a lot in making a well-informed decision.

They understood our requirements well and created the design we wanted.

I was a little worried about the planning permission step for my home remodeling project. Getting approval from the authorities has always been a tough task for me. I am a busy entrepreneur and have no enough time for this. So, I searched for a trusted company and this is where I found the team. What I do is just provide all the necessary documents for planning permission and set my mind free from the approval stress as the company handles the task very professionally and provides the positive results in the scheduled time. Keep it up you guys.

The whole team has been fantastic in helping us plan our extension project, including an additional feature for an Air Source Heat Pump, making the entire process smooth and straightforward. I admit, I can be quite particular when working with suppliers, but the team has accommodated all my requests at every stage! I’d definitely use Paramount Built again for any future planning work and would highly recommend them to others.

I literally had a call from someone called 'James' after they sent me an email after ghosting me for two weeks. They promised to return my money within 30 minutes if I took down my bad reviews. This is tantamount to Blackmail.

I refused (rightly so) and said I wanted my money refunded first and then I would consider amending my reviews. I was then called back as they wanted me to remove my review and refund me, but only at the same time as being on the phone so they could see it being done in real time! Unbelievable!

These guys are a bunch of cowboy scammers. Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs.

My wife booked a structural surveyor through them. They invoiced us and as we both work only saw this late at night. We paid before the session as they insisted (feel a little silly now paying in advance, but they had good reviews). We paid before our session in good faith.

They then cancelled twenty minutes before our appointment the next day because 'they hadn't received payment'. My wife explained our situation and in none of their comms did they say if we didn't pay this would be the case. My wife then asked for a refund as we'd go elsewhere but they proceeded to argue with her.

Obviously, the trust has gone at this point and we wanted to go elsewhere, but then we received another call from their financial controller who equally tried to argue with us and say 'this is not the solution.'

I then had to argue back that we just wanted a refund but it was like getting blood from a stone. I asked them for an exact date as to when I would receive the refund which was today as I write.

I have been updated that this payment is now going to be next week after I had to chase.

Our main issue with the process is that do they say that your appointment is cancelled if the money does not clear. We also didn't appreciate the fact we were being argued with when all we wanted a refund, not to reschedule. It's really poor customer service.

We found a much better and cheaper solution elsewhere.

UPDATE: they have been ghosting me and my multiple emails after promising they would make the payment. I have now left this with my bank to recover my funds. AVOID

Do not trust Paramount Built (Overseas cowboy outfit refusing to refund)
I have spent £500 for structural engineering plans for a loft conversion and rear extension. Their calculations were completely incorrect. checked by both my builder and the building inspector. In their own words they believe they should not use the architect plans who has actually did a site visit. Me and my builder were having massive communications issues with this company and we realised from speaking to the inspector that they didn't operate in the UK. When we had a zoom call with them - they refused to show their faces on camera. I have never dealt with such an amateur outfit. Their phone number just goes straight to voice mail and they never have a named contact. Yesterday when I tried to call it was redirected to another company who had never heard of Paramount build or dealt with structural engineering plans. Do the honourable thing and refund my £500. I am going to report them to trading standards and other platforms as I can't believe any of the positive reviews

After conformation i purchase the services. Team arrived on time, after taking started there work and completed the inspection schedule ahead.

I placed a order on paramount bathroom renovation, sent all pics, management range a team, team visit my bathroom same day. Previous 2 days, team work on my bath room renovation. This is not my final review, i will update soon. Thanks
