Why are you forcing me to leave a review before I receive my product

Great product for chain link fence gates that need panic hardware. Easy to order. Very durable. Have been using for years and have never had a call back to repair.

I ordered an electric keypad ,a electric keypad relay and a surface mounted strike in May of 2023 they were out of stock on the surface mounted strike that they said that it would be available in June,July.
I told them to keep that on order and ship the rest.
I ordered a recessed electric strike that I put into the frame.
I put the keypad in and went to wire the relay there was no wiring instructions with it Northgateecc12 on the website. I emailed multiple times , I called and they didn’t know how to wire their own product.
I emailed the supposed office of President and no answer.
I did get one response to a phone call from my personal assistant which wasn’t right since then no answers to any emails I still haven’t received my surface mounted strike which had been included in multiple emails.
I would definitely not recommend any one to purchase any thing from this company.
Their customer service is good the day after the purchase but then goes from bad to nonexistent after that.
I had to purchase a different electric keypad because I couldn’t get the one I purchased from to even give me power to the latch.
Definitely would new buy Northgateecc12 recommend them for anything.

Denise was suppose to check inventory and call me back in a few minutes. She never called back this morning and it is now 4pm.

I initially bought a double set but got two different styles shipped to me that don't look right together (one with a push pad and the other where the whole bar is pushable). I had to ship this back and they sent a matching set the next time. Then one of the crash bars I ordered says right on the parts list and parts diagram it needs 12 bolts and nuts, yet it shipped with only 6. 6 mount the bar itself, and three secure the upper vertical bar and three more secure the lower on the particular unit I ordered. I emailed customer service about it and sent a picture showing this. They insisted I need only what was shipped with it. I can't use the bars without enough bolts and I'm not getting much resolution and I have to get this project finished so I'm just paying for more bolts. Furthermore, the drilling template they sent was not printed to scale. Fortunately I noticed this before I drilled any holes and was able to make my own template. Finally, the latch for double doors without a mullion is not as pictured in the instructions and I've not yet quite figured out how I am going to mount the one they did ship.

The bar itself seems decent and looks good though.

The checkout process kept giving me an error code. I had to try multiple times and in different browsers.

Hi, I recently made a purchase for a standard panic exit bar kit and was assign Louise Johnson as my sale rep. When I place the order the billing and shipping address isn't the same, billing was my address and shipping address was to my contractor. Louise reached out with really bad attitude and when I ask her to give me a call, she was very uneasy and raise her voice towards me. As someone who spent years in sales, regardless of who you are speaking to, you should never show frustration towards the purchaser/customer.

" People spend money with people that they feel most comfortable with ". Louise was far from that, as a result I asked for a refund.

Denise was very helpful when I had called about the product. The price point on this product was well below the other options I had come across previously.

Knowledgeable, quick, efficient; that is all I ever require.
