I got them to hook up my new gas stove and oven. They had been installed and existing gas lines in place. They made it out to be a big job and gave a quote for $1800. 2.5hrs later they said it was all done. I queried the price and was told it's a set price and would cover complications if there were any. I won't be going with them again.
Quote and invoice for $4220 3hours work, basic fittings, broken sink and didn't realise work had not resolved safety issue of blocked cold water in shower. I refused a further Quote of $1100 to resolve blockafe. A different plumbing company solved the blockage, replaced shower head for less than half Pace Plumbing quote. My concerns were about cost, quality, workmanship and appropriate fittings for my elderly sister in law. I had sent an email and contacted Scott by phone and he did not resolve any of my concerns , only that I had agreed to the quote and that they replaced the sink they broke - 2 weeks later
Pace plumbing and gas came to replace an our kitchen tap . Promptly came just after 4 pm an hour after calling them. Quoted $983. 24 which I did query at the time was expensive .
The plumber explained the tap has a 10 year warranty and the shut off valves which he recommended to us we took his advice.
We did sign and went ahead as needed to be done and we paid.
Later that night I politely asked for an itemized account of costing and received a defensive long response blaming us for accepting the quote and we are a no obligation free quote company . They Then mentioned the extra cost for emergency call out after 3.30 pm.
For almost $1000 wanted a proper breakdown. Wonder now how much the tap cost with no brand.
Would not recommend this company to anyone if you think it’s expensive and ask for a breakdown of the invoice .
AVOID THIS PLUMBER!! Will cost you more than he delivers! Very very costly and the service sucks! Dishonest man.
Not happy with the service. I got them to look at a leak in the main pipe told me I need a valve in the water meter and surpose to fix 1 leak cost $770. But there was still a leak didn't want anything else to do with it so palmed me off to another plumber. Took my money and left me with a trench in the ground.
Rick answered a request for someone to fix my dishwasher...he came later than arranged and fixed a leaking dishwasher tap then told me all my taps were in in terrible condition and I was in danger of having my house flooded. I allowed him to fix the leaking dishwasher tap and replace the kitchen sink tap....he was there for approx 30 minutes....and charged me $495.00....on having the cost revised by another plumber the next day he told me the taps would have cot $100 at the most and $395.00 would have been in charged in labour....I then asked in writing for an itemised acc...he refused...to this day he has refused and told me its a set price.....I feel this company takes advantage of elderly ppl who like me have no idea of the cost of plumbing...as for fixing the dishwasher that was the original problem Rick had no idea...
