The need did arise, I had put an offer on our third property and needed a survey. Same format as the last two and again within a couple of days Iain and I were able to have a video to discuss the findings. The old style of the surveyor typing up a long report and posting or emailing it is not nearly as helpful as going through every point with the surveyor. If you need a typed report, they will do it for you. With an important purchase like a home, the discussion with the surveyor is worth much more than the printed paper report. Hopefully I will not need their service in the near future but if I do or any of my friends do I will use P A Surveyors.

We received a really helpful survey with lots of detail and useful information. Thanks to Iain for producing such a good report. It was also really helpful to have a call to talk everything through as well. Very happy to recommend and would use again in future.

Iain does a thorough and detailed survey and for his lowest-tier pricing you get a detailed Zoom report, hundreds of photos and a list of all recommended works and issues which are accepted by the seller's agents with regards to re-valuing the property. I was recommended PA Surveys by a friend who lives in Brighton and I can highly recommend him. He always finds things you haven't seen and will give you an honest account of the building and property in question. You also get a recording of the Zoom meeting so you can reference the information at a later date on completion of the purchase.

I have used Iain before and would not hesitate to use him again. He responded quickly, inspected the property, gave me a verbal report which was followed up quickly in writing. Professional and charming. I trust his professional wisdom.

Great communication, fair price, and the video discussion format gave us so much more clarity than we could have hoped for. Josh provided so much guidance on areas of concern in future and tips for maintenance. It's really given us a good knowledge of what to watch out for and where to invest our money once the purchase completes. PA Surveyors provided me with a Level 3 survey. They gave me a comprehensive and fully illustrated report which was clearly marked up to highlight the different areas of inspection and raised any legal issues that may have been of concern.

From it I was able to have a good understanding of the problems that existed with a detailed understanding of the works necessary to overcome the issues raised.

I was also able to ask my own questions concerning these and get clear answers to the queries.

The survey was promptly taken and an initial report given quickly which helped inform my decision concerning the property, added to which, local knowledge was also an advantage. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Having used Iain Plant nine years previously I searched to find him. I'm convinced he's a Tina Turner fan. "Whatever You Need" he provided me with not only a survey but also costings. "What You Get Is What You See" he detailed everything he found in his thoroughly professional service with clarity and guidance classifying works requiring immediate attention and those that would become due in the near future. "Steamy Windows" I found him to be knowledgeable on condensation causes and rectification. "I Can't Stand The Rain" the latest survey he carried out for me highlighted damp areas in the property that I was proposing to buy. I can only conclude with "The Best", a recommendation in itself for the first class all round service provided in an efficient timely manner leaving me with absolute clarity on how to proceed.
