Oxford Online English is an excellent…
Oxford Online English is an excellent website to improve your English skills and will recommend this website if you are preparing for the IELTS. I highly recommend Sonya Jacobs because she tutored me for all sections, but our main concentration was speaking and writing. She has in-depth knowledge of the subject. Her passion for teaching and her endless positivity always motivated me that I can do better in a language test. She identified my weak areas, explained those concepts in detail, and gave a lot of practice exercises which helped to score higher. I loved the speaking practices we did, which got me thinking on different topics, and I was able to speak to any given topic on the exam day. Because of Sonya, I was able to score 7.5 in speaking and 7.0 in writing. Last but not the least, advice to all students taking the IELTS, along with an experienced teacher like Sonya, you also have put in 100% of hard work to score high in the exam.

Excellent lesson
Thanks a lot for the excellent lesson I had with Joe. I wanted him to be listening very carefully for all the pronouncing mistakes I did, and so he did. Even if he could have told me that I needed more lessons to improve my pronunciation, he was honest and told me that my pronunciation was not a problem. However, I decided to book more lessons with him to get the fluency back on track again.

Svar från Oxford Online English
Hi,
Thanks for your review, and I'm sorry you weren't able to find enough teachers available at the times you want.
Balancing teacher numbers with student demand is challenging: if we recruit too many teachers, then there aren't enough hours for them, which leads to teachers leaving and high staff turnover. This is bad for everyone.
On the other hand, I agree that it's a problem if you're looking for classes and you can't find teachers at the times you want. We will aim to recruit more new teachers starting in January (unfortunately, December is not a good time to try to recruit), which should increase class availability within the next 6-8 weeks.
In the meantime, if you'd like to discuss this further, or if you need any other help, please feel free to contact me through the contact form on the website (https://www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/contact-us).
