After many attempts, I had the opportunity to work with Alex on my fifth attempt at this exam, and I’m so grateful that I did! He taught me how to approach questions more effectively, challenged me to think through each answer choice, and helped build my confidence along the way. He also focused on strengthening my weaker knowledge areas and, most importantly, always accommodated my learning needs.

Even when I doubted myself, Alex continually encouraged me and reminded me of my abilities. His calm, patient, and supportive approach made such a difference throughout this journey. Alex is very knowledgeable and patient. He will breakdown questions and answer choices with you to help navigate what makes them wrong or right. For example, he will help better your understanding of where and how questions try to trick you, key words/phrases, and getting down to what the question is really asking. He gives detailed explanations without unnecessary jargon to really help the learner grasp the information. If there is a topic you may need more clarity on he will make it a priority to send along additional information to help the student better understand content. He is a great tutor and a key reason why I finally passed my NBCOT exam after previous failed attempts.
