Once again, I have found Oroko to be exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Dealing with Conor Magee has been an absolute pleasure; nothing was too much trouble for him, and he completely put our minds at ease while planning what is truly a "once-in-a-lifetime" holiday.

I highly recommend this professional company and look forward to using their services again in the future.

Oroko was very efficient. We were really happy with the details of transfers flights hotels etc

Everything about our trip was spot on! We felt Oroko listened to our conversations with them and catered the itinerary accordingly. The 5 week trip to Australia and New Zealand went like clockwork itinerary and experience wise . A fantastic mix of accommodation types, flights , cars, trains and boats! Along with some great activities organised along the way

Worked with Michael Shallcross to build an itinerary for visit to Egypt. I found Michael knowledgable with valuable suggestions to the itinerary and patience to work with me on planning.
The local agent in Egypt used by Oroko were excellent and the use of Oroko definitely added value with my bespoke build.
I will use Oroko again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We booked an 18 day trip to Vietnam with Oroko. Everything went very smoothly, we were met at every stage by the representative or guide and the accommodations were first class. The tour guides were all knowledgeable and very helpful. When two of our group had to come home a couple of days early, our agent, Michael Shallcross, was very helpful in rearranging the flights and ensuring their connections went smoothly for which we were very appreciative. We booked a trip to Egypt previously with Oroko and that also went extremely well.

Michael and the team were fantastic, although we couldn’t travel at the time due to to problems in the Middle East he was completely on top of everything and keep us in the loop at all stages. He worked hard for us to get the best possible outcome and I was very satisfied. I would recommend the team at Oroko and will definitely use them again for our future holiday.

Oroko organized a trip to Oman for us in February 2025. The trip was arranged down to the smallest detail by the agency. The hotels, guides, and all the arrangements worked perfectly. The agency was also able to move our return flight earlier in a very efficient and professional way. Our overall experience in Oman was very positive.

I am absolutely delighted with ALL the services OROKO provided. Michael Shallcross was absolutely a God send. He is extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I knew from day one that he had a lot of travel experience. Having used Trailfinders and Steppes , I was a little hesitant in trying out Oroko. However. I wanted to give the business to an upcoming Irish luxury company. I have absolutely no regrets.
I booked a 15 day holiday to Sri lanaka for 5 adult family members. I was very anxious as everybody had their own needs and opinions. Luckily , Michael Shallcross took on all my fears, worries , hesitation and queries ( which i had dozens)... He guided me regarding what he felt best for our trip and age group. He recommended 2 nights in Colombo after a long flight and that was excellent advice. We were tired arriving and needed to rest.
I bombarded Michael with up to 50 e mails detailing all my concerns to which he promptly answered, sorted and reassured me.
The Oroko staff on Sri lanka end were amazing , as Michael said they would be.
Our driver Lakshman was fabulous. Our butler Rowan in 41 lighthouse was superb.
All the accommodation Oroko recommended was top notch luxury and clean.
The staffed villas were amazing.

The time table was perfect. Nobody was late, nobody was sick... we had activities that Oroko organised for us and we had free days to do whatve er we wanted.
The Oroko" app" was a revelation... a well appointed applicant that directed our trip flawlessly. We literally had NOTHING to worry about... everything was done for us in a discreet form.
Am trying to find negatives but can't.
Ethiad airlines disappointed us on the flights home and I mentioned this to Michael. He was amazing and thanked us for telling him . He said he would get the Oroko aviation team to look into this. I did not feel dismissed by him and felt he listened to me both before and post the trip. ... I must say " Well done Michael " ... We were lucky to fly out of Abu Dhabi 12 hours before the drone attack...

My husband organised a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa and Mauritius, He decided to use Oroko travel to organise the holiday. They booked our flights , safari , and hotels .
A month before our travel date , I had a serious accident and had to have emergency surgery, we were told that we would be unable to travel, and we immediately informed oroko and asked if our trip could be rescheduled, we offered to pay change fees and give all the details of my treatment from the mater hospital.

We were told that this would not be possible and all they were able to do was refund 10% of the holiday cost , 2800.00 euros .
We are now trying to claim the cost of our cancelled holiday through our private holiday insurance.
Even with our insurance cover we will be over 5000 euros out of pocket . We are wondering why we bothered booking through this so called bespoke holiday company. If we had booked all the elements ourselves we feel that we could have changed our trip ,
be warned ,
only use this company if you know that you will never have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
To add insult to injury, a travel pouch arrived just before our planned departure date with our travel info , tags for bags and vouchers . The office said that this was sent in error and it would happen again .

I've used OROKO Travel on four separate occasions now, and each time has been flawlessly executed. From the initial booking process to the very last day of my holiday, their communication was outstanding – they were constantly in touch, keeping me informed and addressing any questions promptly. Their service is simply exceptional; they go above and beyond to ensure a smooth and stress-free travel experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend OROKO Travel to anyone; they truly are the best!

Wouldnt recommend. I travel a lot and wanted to use an Irish company for a safari trip. I have been on a number of safaris before. My OROKO experience was poor from the start. No call backs, poor response to emails. When our flight leaving cork was delayed, resulting in our missing the first full day and night and arriving exhausted, we received nothing other than a text to say flight delayed but go to the airport anyway. There was no follow up on return. I have eventually after 18 months received some compensation from the airline but with no support from OROKO. Very very poor customer service from a luxury travel company.
