My mother purchased a set of linen sheets as a gift, they delivered via Amazon, the set that arrived say "100% Cotton". Neither the color or the item ordered was accurate. A set of "cotton" sheets is not $178. Do not order from originaltapestries.com. SCAM.

Im not getting any customer service and Im pretty sure my package is lost. No human has contacted me in a month and a half. I ordered a linen set December 15th and Im still waiting for the tracking number to work.
I feel ripped off.

I ordered 100% European Linen sheet set that cost almost $200 but got cotton sheets that did not even look like linen. They were processed by Amazon and delivered over night, and I've spent 2 days trying to reach the company for return instructions. I know that they got my email, they responded with a 5% discount on my next order. I tried leaving a negative review which naturally was not posted. I think this company is a Chinese company with a fake address in NY to lure American customers and steal their money.
Save your money and shop with a reputable company!

Buyer Beware! I ordered a bedding set in on November 27, 2025. After numerous emails and refusal to refund I received part of the order two months later. I received three separate emails saying it was shipped with a bogus tracking number that just says it is somewhere between here and China. If you click on anything it is just click bait and takes you to random websites. It was a Christmas gift supposedly. Even the partial delivery received two months later is the wrong color from the order. I have challenged it with my CC company. Horrible experience.

If I could give this scam company a negative 10 I would. I purchased what was supposed to be 100% Linen bed sheets. What I received was 100% paper thin polyester sheets. I immediately went to return them as this is not what I ordered. I was told to send them back for a refund. The storefront says they are in NY. To mail them back I was given an address in China. To send them back I would have to pay $54. A perfect scam! Who is going to pay $54 for an item that they did not even order? THEY STOLE $133.00 FROM ME. I reported this to Paypal who told me to return the item for a refund even though it would cost me another $54. I did not want to chance it so I decided not to. I now have a set of Dollar Store sheets that I payed $133.00 for. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS AT ALL COST.

Their promised return policy is a bunch of lies. I needed to return a very expensive item that was not a color that worked. It had never been used and was still in the original packaging and box. They offered to have me keep it and get 5% back! I have no use for it, and 5% is absurd. They have strung me along for over 3 weeks with bot generated email replies from an email different from the one I used to reach out to them. And of course there is no phone number to call. They finally gave me an address in China to return it to at my expense, but also included a list of dire warnings than would result in no refund! Unacceptable. Especially given the fact that I know for certain that it was shipped to me from a warehouse in the USA. Why not let me ship it back there?! They have no answer to that question.

I too, fell for this scam. I ordered the 'European Flax Linen' sheets and got the 'acceptable varient' of 100% polyester sheets. After 2 weeks of emails they told me to ship them to China. DO NOT order anything from this company.

DO NOT ORDER from this company. I ordered 100% linen sheets for $130. A month later (the day before Christmas) I received 100% polyester sheets. When I tried to return them, the cheapest shipping cost back to CHINA was $191. Funny that they shipped to me from the US, but I needed to return the product to China.
They completely "bait and switch" people, advertising one thing and delivering something else under the guise of "we ran out of stock and substituted the next best thing". Whatever. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, and order from somewhere reputable.

Total fraudulent operation..They send polyester extremely poor quality sheets when you order flax linen ones, and send and charge ones you didn't order.

I ordered linen sheets. I received 100% polyester sheets. Their customer service is a sham. It is nothing but bots that put you in an endless loop of emails. Like others, they told me I needed to send the sheets back to their warehouse in China at my expense, which I will not do because they sent sheets I did not order. Do not order from this scam.

Would give zero stars if I could. False advertising to the extreme! I ordered what looked like a really nice quilt, and what I received looked absolutely NOTHING like it, and looked like it literally cost $5 to make (this was after it took a month to get here)

I ordered a sheet set that was described as European 100% linen and received 100 polyester. I paid a lot of money for this item. This company is a scam.

I would leave a 0 star review if possible. I ordered linen sheets as a gift. My friend received polyester sheets. When I reached out to the company they said I would have to pay return shipping which they say is expensive due to there wear house being in China or I could get 20% of my money back. They won’t let me leave a review

Sheets advertised as linen. Nope! The label that came with them says polyester. I washed them and they started falling apart. I have now lost $85. I feel stupid for getting scammed so am writing this to warn others! No way to return them.

They are liars and thieves- I spent 100.00 on linen sheets and got cheap polyester- then as others have said you have to send them back to China for a refund. I am going to do it and write more if I do not get my hundred back. STAY AWAY it’s a bunch of SCAMMERS!!!

Liars and thieves. I am sorry that I did not look for reviews before I purchased 2 sets of 100% European flax linen sheets and received 2 sets of 100% polyester sheets. Yes, they are practicing deception. I will take note from others and file complaint with BBB, Attorney General, FBI, my credit card company, etc. It is a shame they can do business with no recourse.

I placed an order for $110.93. I never received the items or tracking #. I asked for an immediate refund. They made up endless BS excuses, and lies. I have filed complaints with the Attorney General here in Vermont, the FBI and the AARP. Needless to say, I am very, very angry with Original Tapestries. They are immoral Godless thieves. May they rot in jail forever.

I ordered $250 worth of linen sheets/duvet, received only the sheets that printed right on the bag stated it was 100% polyester when I ordered 100% cotton. Never received a duvet and all I got upon contacting them were form letters that said the same thing over and over again stating I would need to return them to China. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - SCAM!!!
