It was an excellent Bikefit, as I had never done before, Nuno showed that he realises what he does, it is not a simple curious. The consultation begins with a kind of a chekin, everything is explained during the consultation and at the end a summary is made and teaches how to tune the Bike.

Este bikefit foi muito completo, rigoroso e esclarecedor. Demorou quase uma tarde inteira (2:30 - 3:00h). O Nuno analisou detalhadamente a minha posição na bicicleta e fizemos muitas experiências até chegarmos à posição final.
Ele tem uma bicicleta de teste que permite ajustar automaticamente os vários parâmetros (selim, avanços) e registar os valores, o que permite comparar várias posições com apenas segundos de ajuste automático. No final, as medições são capturadas e a minha bicicleta foi ajustada de acordo com elas.
Também experimentei vários tipos de extensores e de selins, para identificar quais os mais adequados para mim.
Fizemos também vários testes físicos para determinar quais os aspetos que deveria melhorar (fortalecimento de certos músculos, aumento de flexibilidade de outros) e ele enviou-me vários exercícios para o fazer.
Tudo isto num ambiente muito agradável, totalmente baseado em factos e experiências científicas e tudo muito bem explicado pelo Nuno.
Sinto-me bastante melhor com estes ajustes, recomendo totalmente

Nuno explains everything in detail, answering all our questions and more. Bike fit to be done without worries, it takes time.

If you are serious about cycling then I would highly recommend Orbis Labs. Alternatively if, like me, you are a casual cyclist looking to get more from from the activity, I would equally recommend a visit to Orbis.
To explain, Orbis, run by Nuno, is more than just a visual check of your seating position to check it looks ok, it is a detailed scientific analysis of all aspects of positioning, with adjustments made, along with further recommendations of changes which could be made to your bike, all of which will enhance your ride. In addition, Nuno is very knowledgeable (with the qualifications to prove it!) on biomechanics - I had to look this up, one definition was “the application of mechanical principles to living organisms”.
This is all well and good, but did it work? I went on a long ride after seeing Nuno and definitely felt a difference in, comfort, which in turn enabled me to further than usual, and I still have some of Nuno’s other recommendations to implement. I did make some purchases from Nuno but there is no hard sell, he is not running a bike shop, and I could clearly see even in a test situation, the benefits of what he recommended.

My bike fit with Orbis Lab was a pleasurable experience. Nuno Gama knows his craft well. Nuno was very informative, professional and well spoken. He made sure that I was conformable and happy with my position on the bike and answered every question I threw at him. I would highly recommend him, if you are looking to fix your positional problems on the bike!

Excellent service from Nuno at Orbis Lab, I went for a full TT bike fit prior to a long distance triathlon event. Nuno was very thorough and informative in the process the went through to optimise my bike position. He was able improve my aerodynamic position while being mindful of the event that I was training for and the requirement to be able to run efficiently off the bike. I would highly recommend the Orbis Lab service for anyone looking to improve their bike position and will have no hesitation to return for any future fits or adjustments.

Friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. Nuno was very clear in what we were doing, wanting to achieve and thorough in his approach to do this. No question was silly and he made you feel at ease during the session. Your data is made available to you after the session.

If I need anything bike related fitted again I will be using Orbis Lab.

Had a fit earlier this week. Started with a detailed biomechanics assessment and then a very thorough set of measurements to work out my fit. Turns out i needed a different stem and cleat setup. Did a first ride yesterday and felt really comfortable. I'm going back for the saddle service next!

Nuno spent a whole afternoon helping me get to the correct position on the bike. He really does know his stuff. The proof was in me riding NC500 3 days later, no back or neck pain and a real feeling of comfort on the bike. Well worth every penny, thanks Nuno.

Nuno and his service at Orbis lab is truly brilliant.
I initially got in contact with Nuno after a brief search on the internet for a saddle fitting service and I am very glad I went to him.

For context, My issue was pain in my genital/perineal region which I had for a number of months, but after seeing my GP and a number of investigations, it seemed most likely that it was related to pressure/trauma to that area from cycling. I am a young, fit man and I would not have classed myself as a serious cyclist (I only used the bike for commuting to work each day ~20mins each way + had a spin bike at home for exercise I would use a few times per week) - so I was surprised that I could have this issue from cycling.

However after visiting Nuno, who took a careful history and took the time to examine the issue scientifically and explain to me, I could see how my fairly basic saddle was causing me issues. The saddle fit was unbelievably detailed, scientific and personalised and the difference I felt with the new saddles has been incredible. Nuno's dedication to his customers with his willingness to answer my questions even after the saddle-fitting has been great.

I am now back to cycling with confidence and can thank Nuno for that.

What price comfort. That is what I asked myself when booking a saddle fit at Orbis bike lab with Nuno, following years of saddle changes and inevitable soreness. I needed to change up.

The saddle fit service offered is unique. A first class service aimed at finding you the right type of saddle matched to your needs and rider profile.

Following a quick physical review of posture/alignment and reviewing any concerns/issues, Nuno took my bike measurements and put them into his computer controlled bike fit jig bike. This then mimmicked my bike on which we fitted my existing saddle with a pressure pad and started to record video of me riding with pressure maps showing. Nuno quickly identified issues with my foot position (adjusted cleats) and saddle height (adjusted) before reviewing pressure points whilst talking through how I was feeling.

I was then asked to ride c.20 saddles of various types/manufacturers before identifying 5 for a shortlist which we pressure mapped again and compared to my original saddle before getting to 2, which I am now trying for a week on roads (both saddles having their own measurements for reach/saddle height etc - not just one set of generics). Nuno consistently teviewed the data on his screens, asked for constant feedback and was always looking to tweak position, seat angle etc.

Nuno is very passionate and knowledgeable and this came across in his attention to detail, communication and approachable, professional manner. I left after 4 hours with a lot more knowledge, a better cleat position, better position on my bike with 2 saddles to try that were much comfortable than my latest.

Overall I would highly tecommend Nuno and Orbis bike lab. A hidden gem.

Nuno is exceptional. He combines scientific knowledge with a detailed person centred assessment and relays this to a perfect bike positioning. He explains things in easy to understand terms and always ensures you know what he is thinking. Nothing is too much and genuinely felt in the best hands. The bike fit assessment was for my daughter and it was the best bike fit both of us have been part of. He goes the extra length to ensure that the set up not only makes sense scientifically ( with the gadgets) but also that you feel super comfortable. If you are looking for a bike fit, look no further than Nuno.

Nuno was great! Patient and clearly know what he is doing. I had trouble finding a good saddle to suit riding a road bike for long distances and also using TT bars. The time spent in his lab was really useful sorting out what might work for me. I like that I got three saddles to try out after the fit.

I have reached out to Nuno as I needed my road bike position to be more performance oriented for indoor and outdoor riding. He has helped tremendously with adjusting the position which made my riding more powerful and stable. Nuno was very professional, kind and knowledgable which resulted in a much improved fit on my bike.

Nuno is clearly a very knowledgeable bike fitter and an expert in his field. The best compliment that I can pay him is that he was able to explain a variety of technical matters in a way that I could easily understand. For me, this shows a great deal of knowledge and experience and is very valuable. I went to see Nuno specifically about a saddle issue and we went through a very thorough test of different saddles, positions etc which have helped and I found interesting. We also touched upon a number of other areas and I will no doubt visit Nuno again in the future as required.

Foi exatamente o que procurava. Não sendo um atleta de triatlo profissional, o Nuno teve disponibilidade total para explicar a razão de cada alteração que ia fazendo e sugerindo melhorias que se revelaram muito significativas para o que pretendia, encontrar o selim ideal, isto é, que fosse o mais confortável e adaptado à minha fisionomia. Experimentei mais de uma dezena de selins, em diferentes posições até encontrar exatamente o que queria. Recomendo vivamente para quem ainda não encontrou o seu selim de eleição.

Nuno provided a professional and thorough bike fit for me, starting with an initial assessment, saddle mapping and then finally making adjustments on my bike, and making solid recommendations. He also educated me a ton about body positions, leg muscles etc. related to cycling (I didn't know my left leg was so much more dominant than my right!). Quickly fixed a lot of issues i was having on the bike. Thanks so much!

I came in the lab because my lower back was hurting and I took the check up service to try to solve that. This is the cheapest service, so you know what I am talking about.

I think it is worth every penny you put in as Nuno goes to great length to identify and solve the problem you have. Moreover he does not hesitate to go further and do things that are beyond a bike check-up or bike fit to provide you advices about biomechanical imbalances he can find.

I particularly appreciate the scientific, non-snob and non-bull... approach and attitude. Nuno is not trying to sell you anything, is extremely pedagogical and his actions are a testimony that he does care about being genuinely helpful to you. The cherry on the cake is that Nuno is a very cheerful and pleasant person, you will have a great time in the lab.

As for the results, it is too early for me to comment on that as I am testing various saddle inclinations & heights for a couple of months as we agreed on in the lab. I will update the review after everything is said and done. My review for now is mainly about the quality of the service I received in the lab.
