This was a great course, well organised, varied, and interactive. Course involved using pigs heads as practicals, we were raising flaps, teeth removal and suturing etc. Lux8 provided a close team of other specialists and dentists to help meaning we all were able to get assistance with each practical.

Both days were varied, healthy menus and snacks as well as mindful eating and entertaining to break up the day. I felt the group of around 13 of us blended so well and its the perfect size to learn within. I liked that we came back from short breaks and would move onto something different, which really stimulated the learning and kept you focussed

Yusuf and his team were really approachable questions and answers were welcomed and discussed as well as getting tips on all those amazing posts thelondonoral surgeon posts.

I left with confidence and eagerness to get back into oral surgery.

Look forward to doing his wisdom course next year or so!

I place implants and do alot of surgery. Hand on heart I can say this was an amazing course and I was able to take away so much. More importantly I was able to implement the techniques straight away !

Dr Yusuf and his team truly exceeded my expectations in both teaching and course delivery. Many courses provide great theory but still leave you hesitant clinically; this course was refreshingly different, with a strong practical focus that will immediately transform my practice. I now feel confident assessing radiographs and identifying teeth that require elective surgical extraction, rather than attempting cases with unnecessary stress. Whether you’re early in your career or already advanced, this course will undoubtedly broaden your scope, skills, and confidence.

This course was worth every penny!!! The course was extremely well structured and informative. The content was delivered clearly, with a strong balance between theory and practical application. Dr Yusuf demonstrated excellent knowledge and experience, explaining procedures in a logical and approachable way which makes it easy for me to go back and follow up in surgery. The use of clinical cases and step-by-step guidance really enhanced my understanding and confidence. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their oral surgery skills.

Amazing. I wouldn’t be writing a review if I didn’t think it was absolutely amazing! From the teaching to the social everything was informative and enjoyable. The teaching was nice and understandable and even if there were parts people didn’t understand, the team made sure everyone understood and answered all questions perfectly! The practical element really did help and honestly I’m excited to use the knowledge learnt from the course. I definitely feel more confident now and I actually know what I’m doing and why. Definitely gave a structured good way to think about extractions.

The Lux8 team have really put together a great course. Dr Yusuf, Zarah and the other members of the team make it a very slick and fun experience. Unlike many other courses the clinical skills learnt are practiced multiple times over the 2 days which really allows one to hone skills under excellent supervision. The content is great and the very knowledgeable and approachable Dr Yusuf has planned for enough time to answer all and any questions on and around the subject matters.
I might just book on again to have a couple of days with the team again.

Yusuf has such a vast amount of knowledge and experience which he was able to share with us at LUX8. I feel a lot more confident undertaking surgical extractions n ow and use of instruments during extractions. I would recommend this course to all GDPs.
