Great platform, really

The service is highly unreliable.
I started creating first a type of course with lessons here and there... a couple of days later I came back to add something and half of my lessons were erased.
I created them again...
I contacted customer service and their response was that I must have erased the material.
I came back a few days later and now the old erased lessons were back (since, I did NOT erase them... obviously, it was their website not showing them).

Weeks later I needed to update the homepage. Changes were not saved/published.. eventually, as I lost my patience I hit unpublish and publish again. It was all gone.
I eventually recovered my old site and added a section... it just NEVER updated no matter how many times I hit SAVE.

I do NOT recommend this service, unless you want to waste lots of your time just to figure out if things are up and running on their side.

It is highly unreliable.

Abisola is THE BEST!!! I would have never been able to get my domain set up without his help. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He has helped me numerous times and I am very grateful for his help!

I’m so impressed with OnlineCourseHost. The platform is incredibly intuitive, and within two days (working on it off and on) I had my course fully set up—dripped content, emails, and all. What really stood out was the support. Every time I emailed, I received a response within a few hours, and the guidance was clear and actionable. The support videos are also excellent—simple, well-organized, and easy to follow even if you’re not “techy.” I’m genuinely excited to have my first course up and running here!

They just push AI everywhere without even getting basics right and seamless. We switched back to Teachable, because it is way more fluent and they don't push AI mindlessly.

Wow….we have 4 courses up in less than then two week. I’d highly recommend this service.

Online Course Host is one of the most matured and constantly evolving education and course platform there is! They have a full suite of features including video hosting, assessments, bundles, products, payment collection, email newsletters and so much more that's super comprehensive for any educator like me! Honestly, what prompted me to write this review was the incessant updates that Vasco features into the platform!
I am a huge fan - and more power to OCH!

The site is intuitive and easy to use, and they're constantly improving it and adding new features. Getting set up needed a bit of support for the white label, but they always came back within 24 hours, sometimes the same day, with comprehensive answers. I even had loom videos made just for me, which was a great help. Adding products is very straightforward and the built in AI assistance is helpful. There is a lot of care and investment being put into the product, and regular communication to users.

After almost one year of experience with this service I can say that I do not recommend it. It is obviously built by people who have no idea how to create online platforms and are learning on the way (not efficiently).

I moved my courses to this platform together with my own domain and the result was that due to poor SEO setup of the platform, the courses stopped being indexed by Google. And this is not the whole story but I will save you my painful experience with their customer support. Who are nice but absolutely useless to resolve any issue, it's appalling.

So if you have low expectations and just want to experiment with course creation, you can give this platform a try. But for someone who has some students already and wants to move courses, please choose a different platform!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL READING THROUGH EMAILS FROM ONLINECOURSEHOST.COM , their email address is being used as a cloak for a bitcoin scam and they are emailing people saying they have “ unsavory” informations and footage of them that they are going to release and ask you to send them money in bitcoin to stop sharing the information, be vigilant stay safe 🫡

We are very happy with the platform since march 2025 and the support team. We send our feedback and they answer quickly with the improvement of the platform.

Ok, there are a few minor things that aren't as customizable as I'd like, coming from a web programming background where the sky's the limit, but I don't know of any better hosting options out there for what they do offer at this price. And my favorite part is that they are very good at responding when there are concerns. So they're good to work with. And the email updates actually are respectful and informative, not just in-your-face annoying ads. I was also looking for a few good pre-made templates for my pages, mostly as feedback to make sure I'm on the right track for design, and that's a particular area where I feel they have something to offer.

Honestly, I’ve tested several LMS software, and this is one of the best. They never stop updating, continuously adding new features. And the after-sales service is quick and precise in their responses.
The only downside (but it doesn’t deserve to lose a star since it’s not the core of the offering) is the website builder, which lacks basic settings.
In any case, I have 3 schools with them, and I recommend it.

Amazing service and platform! I was able to setup and deploy my course within 3 days (it would have been quicker if I had everything ready) and the service is truly out of this world! The team is able to respond very quickly and provide clear instructions on troubleshooting!!

This has been a great experience. I’ve used other platforms before, but OCH is very easy to understand. Plus the onboarding videos are helpful and in a logical order.
But what really sets them apart is their commitment to improvement and excellent customer service. It has become a very capable platform with regular releases. And they have even implemented a suggestion through the help desk. That means that the support desk and the tech guys actually communicate. That doesn’t sound like a big deal, until you think about the disconnect in most companies. Very professional and courteous as well. I highly recommend!
