I received two items as a gift from my…
I received two items as a gift from my company for my yearly anniversary. The transition went smoothly and I received the items well within a reasonable time. Both items were well packaged for shipping and although I have not tried either of them, I see that they do have good reviews at this point. I’m going to review that Uber 5 quart air fryer. I’ve turned it on and became accustomed to the works of using this item. It has many more features than my old one and certainly more room. I’ve still got to read the manual on it, but I’m extremely pleased so far. I’ll be cooking chicken in it this evening for dinner.
What they tell you doesn't match what they actually deliver.
* edit - They did issue a refund about 6 hours after I wrote this review once it was sent back to their technical department. I do appreciate that, and really wish they would have had those features.
Their online subscription platform made it seem that your gift will be shipped out with custom branding and color schemes with your company. On top of that they said they would send a card to the client.
What they don't tell you is they are only digital cards and branding, so when your client gets a gift they don't know who it is coming from, and the shipping receipt only has a small little line they most likey wont read. I was going to use this so my clients could get a gift and then easily see a thank you card and a QR code to leave me a review on my google platform.
Upon speaking with them they would not refund my money for the subscription even though I used the platform once and it was a lack luster experience. They kept saying I misread something on their site even though I sent them screenshots of them advertising their custom packaging, branding, and card that would be delivered with the gift.
I'm not worried about getting a $200 refund, but thought the customer service and their understanding would be much better. They advertise as a VIP solution but the service and support on the backend is not worth signing up.
On top of it I selected the Cravory cookie package as I was going to test it out before actually using it with my clients. It was one of their top recommended packages. The cookies were terrible and dry, my toddler wouldn't eat them and neither would my dogs. We gave them to a neighbor, and they agreed they were horrible and threw them all away. I would not want to send gifts to my clients that seemed to be cheap and of poor quality.
DON'T give them your personal payment info.
We trusted Goody for Employee Appreciation Day--on the surface, what a great solution! We can get each employee a little gift while making sure they get exactly what they want!
I was given a budget from work, so I loaded a balance into my Goody account from my work credit card. Because we have an odd number of employees, I listed my personal credit card in my account, as well, with the intention of personally contributing what was needed to cover gifts for our entire staff.
Imagine my surprise when, after a day of staff members claiming their gifts, I found that the gifts weren't coming from the balance contributed from my work credit card, but my personal credit card! I reached out to support to explain my intention and understanding, and requesting that this be remedied.
I was told that moving forward, future gifts will be coming out of the balance, not my personal credit card. However, they would not refund the charges to my personal card and deduct from the balance. I was told by Abby via website chat that they are very sorry, but there's no way they can make this right.
I asked why, so I could explain that to you, dear reader, but have not received a satisfactory response.
I'll never use Goody again.

Overall, it has become my go-to app for gifting that I've found myself using more and more following all the positive feedback that I've gotten from people selecting exactly what they want. A must try.
The slowest service ever
The slowest service ever. Its been 1 month and a half and didnt receive my gift. They said one week ago they will put the gift on express shipping, still didnt ship after they have lost my first shipment. Who would wait so much for this, just buy a giftcard of amazon instead and give it as gift than using this.

Recently received a Goody for a birthday gift. I am always on the move, so ability to switch the gift (amazing!), and also ship to a location that I am in was superb. I am someone that is both cost and environmentally conscious, so getting what I really want and need in the moment was fantastic.

Major issue is if you want to exchange a gift for a more expensive item that you are willing to pay the difference, they have no way to do it.
Same for a less expensive item no credit will be issued.
Great business model for Goody!

Gifts don't arrive
My employer "gave" employee gifts through this entity this year. The platform auto-updated my address to an incorrect, nonexistent address after I completed my order so that while the item shipped immediately, it never arrived. I reached out to customer service and they responded promptly, saying they would reship to the correct address. The item was shipped again but still to the incorrect address and returned to sender. I reached out again and now the item is unavailable. Company tried to insist the issue was on my end and that I should provide a different address. Um, no, I don't have multiple residences, use the correct address. They finally offered me a chance to select a different item and now there are shipping delays. Originally ordered Dec 9, it's now Jan 14 and I suspect this "gift" will never arrive. Giving 2 stars because the customer service does reply quickly.

I ordered holiday gifts for my team of 50, plus one extra for myself to ensure everything was as expected. After taking our payment and confirming shipping, the company informed us that the items were out of stock and offered a swap. Unfortunately, the only option available was to donate to charity, leaving my team with no gifts.
This experience was deeply disappointing. A basic requirement of e-commerce is keeping accurate track of inventory to avoid selling items you cannot fulfill. This situation felt like a bait-and-switch, and we regret not choosing another company.
We will not be using this company in the future and cannot recommend them to others.

Once received I will be back to update the review. Overall the experience still was not quite what we hoped for but I do like that they reached out to fix it. I will still most likely purchase gifts myself in the future to avoid this.

Great idea, but lack of sympathy for customers
Fast customer support response, but huge lack of ability in righting the wrongs. This principle should be a no brainer for a startup to succeed. I was gifted from a vendor of ours and the address autofilling on the platform did not respect my address choice (which was correct). The platform chose to ship to a default, random address upon getting my order confirmation. Reached out to customer support, and they said there is nothing they can do.
Now, it's just shipped to wrong address and I'm sure my vendor just wasted money and same with Goody. Great idea, but not recommended and I don't see them succeeding until they start becoming more customer-centric and fix obvious issues in their platform that probably impacted way more people than myself.

TERRIBLE experience. Takes way too long to ship
I was psyched by the premise of gifting internationally without having to worry about gathering addresses or shipping, but this has been an absolutely terrible choice. Despite registering gifts a month before Christmas - and having them claimed by the recipients immediately - it is now December 22nd, and the gifts haven't even shipped yet. I will NEVER use Goody again. The promise of convenience does not matter if they can't get the gifts out the door in a reasonable timeframe. ESPECIALLY when the recipient knows the gift is coming.

The product was excellent and my friend was very happy and surprised which made me happy too so I’m calling it a success! However, there are some things that really made this first time user break out in a sweat and panic . Can we talk about the app? It is not very user friendly especially for a first time user and I almost went with a competitor company simply because their app was easier to understand and place a planned order. The next thing is that the delivery was 3 days late. In my friend’s case, she was supposed to have been already in another city by that date but by just luck her schedule changed at the last minute and she was still there and received her gift. Otherwise she would have been halfway across the country and in a rural area in the middle of Texas so that would have further delayed her delivery I’m sure and I would not be a happy customer at all writing this review. However, it did work out and she got what I paid for and I still might (emphasis on “might “) use your company again but really hoping that app gets a makeover!
